I know its kinda late but oh well. My CT team was always Chrono Luminaire, Robo Shock, and Ayla to beat the living shit out of things and use items to heal when necessary.

Meh I wouldn't wanna see any more series brought into the KH world. Personally apart from Cloud the story for all the FF characters really didn't do much for me (yes even sephiroth). Plus there's not supposed to be many if ANY Disney Characters in KH 2. I'd like to see KH 2 be completely original and completely dark.

My team was Chrono (Luminaire), Ayla (Dino Tail when HP was low, and for all-out melee attacks), and Robo (Healing and Shock). Everyone else kinda sucks... Too bad I need to start the damn game over to get the other endings.

What are you talking about? You can just beat it, then play through again and get all the endings.

My goal for the longest time was to have double-star for all my stats, and beating it over and over with the same save-game is basically the only sensible way to do that. Plus, you can get all the special equipment that you normally have to choose one thing or the other for, like the Prism Dress.

Magus solo holy shit that woudl be cool. K Kingdom Hearts 2 SHOULD have Crono Trigger people in it. I hope so much that they do it would make so many people happy.

You could have fought the final battle since you FIRST got to the End of Time (the barrel). The best way to fight Lavos is to fly the Epoch to 1999 though. Basically now, you get to do a ton of different things to see different endings, I'd highly recommend a guide at this point.

Guides are for pussies. Just remember what choices you make when you beat the game, then make different ones the next time you beat it through with this party again.

The endings correspong with the "title" that is attached to your save file. I don't remember any but they're stupid stuff like "Save the Queen" and "Fight the Lizard people!"...thats basically the title of the ending you'd get if you went and beat the game at that exact moment.

destroy it in 1000 AD, but don't destroy the one farthest back in time (i forget whether there is one in 65 mil BC). you need to keep one to level in, as it's obviously the best place for that.

Magus sux teh BALLZ. I don't respect angry evil pricks, who are rude and full of angst. I killed Magus pretty hardcore my second time through the game. He was all dead and stuff. PROBLEM SOLVED!

But I'm the only person in the UNIVERSE who hates him, as I'm starting to now believe.


Ayla was all I needed. And she actually CAN take on Lavos by herself, (I've seen to that)... whereas Magus will be coughing and sputtering and dead unless at his maximum level.

Anyways, this sums up my feelings on Magus...

Meh...Magus looks cool I guess...he's pretty worthless in battle though. His primary power is magic and with Luminaire chrono has that covered. Plus Chrono can kick some ass if/when he ever runs out of MP. Robo can shock things AND heal...and Ayla could destroy titanium with her fist man. There's just no place for Magus in a winning team.

Flux... Forget it, nevermind.

Magus is probably the most powerful character in the whoel friggin game, I don't know what you two are talking about.

Dark Matter does more damage than Luminaire, and it only takes one characters turn to use. Plus, if you have the best sword and the Sunglasses, Chrono's regular attack does more damage than Luminaire as well (though to only one target) which leaves Marle free to heal and cast spells.

I don't care what any of you say, I've beaten CT through countless times and nothing tops Dark Matter/Chrono Attack and Marle Healing/Magic. Nothing.

As for taking Lavos on one-on-one, Flux, wtf are you talking about? Magus can do WAY more damage than Ayla at a much lower level, I've wasted Lavos with Magus solo many-a-time and it's never presented a difficulty.

Maybe you should actually TRY Magus instead of just "Killing him Hardcore".

Healers are pussy. Chrono is a read-headed step child, and hes got the money to pay for... stuff. Items=no healer needed. I'm all for Chrono-Ayla Falcon Hit, and Magus on the side, doin his thang.
