Let the conversations flow. If anyone wants to play a dorky little game while doing so, we can add spells at the end of our posts :3
I'll start it off with my favorite part of the world. Quidditch. The fucking best, and the only sport that would ever get me off my lazy ass.
To start the spell naming game, why not the first spell used in HP? Oculus Reparo.

Train? Don't you mean the trash can behind the burger joint that, when you jump in, will teleport take you to the school?

I don't see this lasting that long. The franchise seemed to stop a few years ago.

It has been a long time since I finished reading the books but I would still like to contribute.
I would love to be in Ravenclaw but I probably suck just enough for Hufflepuff.
My favourite character from the trio was Hermione, because I like bookworm characters.
Luna, Mad-Eye and Snape are my favourite characters in that order
Umbridge and Draco are by far my most hated.
Goblet of Fire was my favourite book of all time but Halfblood Prince is a close second.
Favourite moment? There are so many. The Snape back story in the final book is a memorable one. Or fighting the inferi or anything with Luna.
At a time when reading was just not a "cool" thing to do, a friend bought me a book for my birthday and that is how I started reading the series.
I doubt I would really excel at any lesson but the lesson taught by Hagrid seemed like fun.
Mad-Eye was always my favourite professor.
The only Hallow I would ever take is the cloak.
I fear the character I am most like is Neville but hopfully I will one day take a level in bad ass.
There were so many spells and I can not remember most of them but by far the most useful would be Oculus Reparo.
As for if I would enter the triwizard tournament. I probably would because I know there is no way it would pick me.
I am terrible at all sports so Quiddich is out.
I like to think my patronus would be a dog.
And in a world that dangerous the only profession for me would be a bookstore owner but I would like to say something cool like Aura.

My nigga Neville
Limited on time, so I'll just answer a couple.
Ron was my favorite of the trio.
Luna Lovegood, Sirius Black and Helga Hufflepuff
Goblet of Fire, if I was old enough, then of course.
Quiddtich? Damn straight, I'd play it all fucking day, in any weather.
Least favorite, eh, I guess Bellatrix.
Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:49 pm
Slytherin and proud of it! It is supposed to represent ambition and a willingness to succeed whatever the cost. So yeah, I'm cool with that. Plus that's what The Hat picked for me!
Hermione, because Hermione is a BAMF!
Fred and George(I'm counting them as one character), Bellatrix, Draco.
Lucius Malfoy that Dipshit MotherFucker should've ...
Half-Blood Prince but coming on strong was the Deathly Hallows.
When Hermione had Rita Seeker as a bug in a jar.
I discovered Harry Potter when I was in fourth grade and it was because I thought that the boy on the cover looked silly while chasing a sparkly ball while on a flying broom.
I think I would do okay in Care for Magical Creatures with Hagrid...if I lived anyway...
I gotta say Snape.
No contest. The Cloak.
I like to think I most similar to Luna.
Bat Boogey Hex! Riddikulus! And Expecto Pertronum!
Hell Yeah I would Enter!
I feel like I would be a cat.
The Department of Mysteries...everything else is classified...

The best part of Edward Cullen portraying Cedric Digory was the part where he died at the end.
I've never supported the relationship between Hermione and Ron Howard. Sorry.
Why couldn't Draco Malfoy have a redeeming moment?
I want Fluffy!
The one actor missing from the film series was Johnny Depp (because JD + HBC = forever).
I will forever quote as my default the following meme: "Harry Potter is about confronting fears, finding inner strength, and doing what is right in the face of adversity... Twilight is about how important it is to have a boyfriend."
Wed Sep 04, 2013 8:57 pm
Edward Cullen? Robert Pattinson. He also had the part before Twilight.
By Ron Howard, you either forgot the comma or your giving an incorrect name.
I agree with JD comment, completely. I fucking love him, especially as Capt. Jack Sparrow.
Say what you will about Twilight, ever story has redeeming qualities.

Your house: Cawww! Ravenclaw, muthafuckers
Your favorite character from the trio: Hermione, Harry is dumb
Three other favorite characters: Luna, Snape, Arthur Weasley
Least favorite character: Umbridge
Favorite book: Deathy Hallows
One favorite moment: Assuming bookwise, I really liked reading about the trio sneaking around under the invisibility cloak at any time. Also, when they had to spend the night in the woods with Hagrid. Admittedly, I only read each book once, so my memory about it isn't super good, and I don't wanna risk picking something from the movies and fidning out that wasn't in the books.
How you were introduced to the series: IT WAS FUCKIGN EVERYWHERE
What would your favorite lesson be?: Assuming only core classes or elective, not extra curriculars, Muggle Studies. I think, like Hermione, I'd find it fascinating to study us from the wizarding point of view.
Favorite professor: Hard to disliked McGonagall
Which hallow would you take?: Like everyone so far, I'd probably take the cloak, although maybe the stone
Which character are you most like?: I'm not really sure
Three spells you’d like to be able to perform: accio, alohomora, reparo
Would you have entered your name in the Goblet of Fire?: Probably not
Would you have played Quidditch?: Yes, seeker probably
What form would your Patronus take?: No idea
What would be your profession in the wizarding world?: Also, no idea
Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:37 pm
I wonder what house I'd be placed in.
I'm pretty sure I'm smart enough for Ravenclaw, but I'm lazy enough to be thrown into Hufflepuff.
Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:41 pm
I dunno that that's necessarily a factor in being Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, if anything that'd be against you being in Hufflepuff, since I believe being hardworking is one of the main traits of Hufflepuffs
Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:49 pm
Not how I see it, I believe it was that they're okay with hard work, as in...
if it's not there they won't go looking for it, but if they feel it needs to be done, they will without hesitation.
I'm willing to do work, but Ravenclaw members seem to try and over achieve. But I don't think the house itself requires one to be hard working.
Wed Sep 04, 2013 9:58 pm
Right, I don't think Ravenclaw requires it either. I don't know what's making you think Hufflepuffs are lazy, though haha. Doing hard work is right in the sorting hat's blurb about them
"You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true,
And unafraid of toil"
Wed Sep 04, 2013 10:06 pm
Yeah, the way I interpret it is that they aren't afraid to do hard work.
As in, if it presents itself, they would do it, but over achieving doesn't seem to be part of their house.
Could just be me, but that's how I've viewed them when reading/watching. Unless I missed something.
Wed Sep 04, 2013 10:09 pm
Your house: Slytherin
Your favorite character from the trio: Hermione
Three other favorite characters: Draco, Snape, Mad-Eye Moody
Least favorite character: Harry in the end.
Favorite book: Order of the Phoenix
One favorite moment: Kind of a over all statement, I liked when they got into the descriptions of the wizard world. How things worked, how it looked, etc. It really made it "magical" for me.
How you were introduced to the series: The first book was worth 8 or 10 reading points in my school. We had to make so many points per trimester and it was a good amount of points at the time.
What would your favorite lesson be?: Dark Arts
Favorite professor: Snape
Which hallow would you take?: Cloak
Which character are you most like?: idk
Three spells you’d like to be able to perform: can't remember any.
Would you have entered your name in the Goblet of Fire?: Heck yeah
Would you have played Quidditch?: Yup, as a Keeper.
What form would your Patronus take?: A KITTEN YO, SNUGGLE THE HELL OUTTA THAT THING WHEN I'M SCARRED.
What would be your profession in the wizarding world?: idk.
Wed Sep 04, 2013 10:10 pm
Cedric was a Hufflepuff, he went out of his way to volunteer for the Tri-Wizard Tournament, if Hufflepuffs didn't seek out challenges he wouldn't have done that.
@BL: Haha, I can't see you as Slytherin at all.
Wed Sep 04, 2013 10:19 pm
Ah, true. Just me then, Hufflepuffs just always seemed to be more background than the other 3.
Ravenclaw for me! I've always liked blue :3
As for Quidditch, Idc what I get, I'd play any position, one of the chasers preferred.
