I just remember that in the show of pokemon, of all the championships Ash has been in, he only won 2 out of 5.

He only won filler battle zone type titles like the Orange Laugue or the Battle Frontier (where you only need to defeat 5-7 people and have as many tries as you want), not a real regional championship tournament. The reason for that is, that the anime established that once you win a regional championship tournament, you can move into some vague "masters league", and the purpose of the anime is to shill the region in which the newest games take place. If he won a regional championship tournament there'd be no storyline reason for him to move onto the next region.

I don't know why because in Gold you become champion and can go get all the badges in Kanto as well as Johto. In the end Ash is terrible anyways, most of the Pokemon he has captured are just a bunch of Tauros.

Ash may not have completely obliterated any region, but he's one of the most versatile trainers in the series - having been to multiple regions each unique to themselves in terms of culture and strategy.

This means that he can adapt to a variety of situations that the game heroes can't.

"Adapt" being relative, he has to have a level 100 pikachu at this point and should be able to fucking wipe any Gym immediately but still flounders all the time, he is a fucking idiot that pokedex's pokemon he has even OWNED before, and shit ash catching like a million fucking Tauros gains you nothing!

Ash is borderline retarded and doesn't "adapt" to shit, he ends up going to another region because he fucked up in a previous one.

I wonder if it's gonna be all new Pokemon or a mixed Pokedex like in the 3rd gen.

On one hand, they're putting in so many new features and stuff I wouldn't be surprised if they also wanted a new, clean pokedex. On the other hand, they just did that and that Black and White had signs of creative fatigue all over.

Well you already get first gen starters along with your new starters, plus able to get Torchic so I'm sure it'll be mixed. what with Sudowoodo and Houndour in horde battle.

True, good point. They wouldn't be making so many megaevolutions of old pokemon if they weren't initially catchable.

Mewtwo might have story elements in this game, the way they're promoting him and the fact he is getting another movie makes it seem like they're making Mewtwo important again. Anyways I'm expecting Mewtwo in the next Smash Bros due to all his new publicity.

lol "Bench sitting." It's a new feature that isn't really that special.

I dunno... Bench sitting is a pretty big deal for me.

It builds for future games where we just get like decent MMO capability.

The internet has been won.

Using furniture seems to be a feature that is both good and bad. When it's not there, people miss it for roleplaying, when it's there you waste time on it. I can't count the amount of times I've sat down by accident and immediately stood up again in Skyrim.
