Ike's move set was completely original so he may have a comeback, but Roy was just a slightly slower but stronger Marth so he probably isn't worth bringing back.

Now that you mention it Roy and Marth have slightly the same moves,Ike at least has its own moves.

Does Meta Knight may be back?

There's a possibility of Meta Knight coming back, his playstyle was unique to him.
And apparently Nintendo has confirmed that although there's now 2 playable Links, their skills will act completely different. Previously only the boomerang was different from all I know.

Roy's game didn't come out at the time of Super Smash Bros. Melee. So if Roy were to come back, he would have his moveset based on the games he appeared in. This would be a good thing because Roy can now be very distinct from Marth, thus eliminating him as a clone.

Roy has been out since 2002, the only reason he got into Melee is because he was the main character in the newest Fire Emblem much like Ike was. We'll probably get Ike and Chrom due to the recent release of Fire Emblem Awakening.

Well what I'm saying is that in Japan, Fire Emblem: Binding Blade came out around March 2002, but Melee came out before that, which is November 2001. And secondly, at the time of Melee's release in America, there were no Fire Emblem releases in the US. Not only that, I have re-researched information I remembered just to be sure, and of course you're right, but it's just that because he was there for preview purposes prior to Roy's game, he was just nothing more than a clone of Marth. That's why I said that his move set would be based on the abilities he would obtain in Fire Emblem: Binding Blade, which would completely change the way he plays entirely.

I kind of explained that in a rather crude fashion, but I hope you can understand a little bit at least. And as for the previous post, I'm just saying he should use moves from Binding Blade rather than remain a clone, that's all.

He was spammy as hell! Also besides the three newcomers I don't see any new characters coming in besides maybe Pacman.

Well, Princess Zelda was finally added to the gang. Seems to have some new tricks, one of them related to Spirit Tracks.
But she either doesn't turn into Sheik or they're trying to make it a surprise.

Now all they need to do is make Tingle a playable character.

So.... anyone think Pacman and Ridley might be in the game? I mean Namco is help making the game and they are making a pacman reboot and we all know how Nintendo is with advertising in their own games, and since Little mac, who was an assist trophy, is now a playable character in the game, is there any chance Ridley might be a playable character

Mighty no 9 said to be a playable character in ssbu

NO! NO! NO! NO! Last thing I want is that stupid looking twat to be a character other than assist trophies.

Then again, I lack any recent Nintendo console that came out, so I really shouldn't make judgement on that possible call.

I'd like to see Tingle in SSB as a assist trophy. Don't know what his power would be, though.
He was in SSBM in one level, but that's pretty much it.

I don't remember him in SSBB, and there weren't assist trophies in SSBM. So...

Actually he was in Brawl, and I think he lit fireworks that sprawled all over the screen. I'm not sure really. It's been months since I played the game.
