Ohh typical Disney Super Sentai

Postby achthenuts » Thu Nov 08, 2012 9:36 pm

We’ve come a long way from Steamboat Willie. Apparently Disney and toy-maker Bandai are working together on a Voltron-like toy robot called King Robo, and according to the storyline, Mickey Mouse and his friends supposedly pilot the robot. The toy, part of the Bandai’s Chogokin line, will be released March 2013, and unlike most Disney toys, it will be aimed at ages 15 and up. If successful, the property could spawn an anime series.

And speaking of Steamboat Willie, apparently the robot’s head transforms from a toy version of the paddle boat from that landmark film!

Fuck you ach! I'll buy toys If I lived alone, even If I am an adult! :P

No offense, just joking around, love you ach. XOXO <3

Anways, when I first saw the King Robo, I thought is was awesome but at the same time unsettling because I felt that it didn't fit well with Disney Characters. Just looking at the mecha alone I can't see it working for them. Typical weirdness.

As for buying anything as an adult (not saying that I am one, just in case anyone misunderstands that), regarding Super Sentai, and Kamen Rider Role Play toys, it's sort of my way to support the guys who make Super Sentai and Kamen Rider. They capitalize over those damn good merchandise. And If anyone is watching Power Rangers MegaForce, you've got to buy the Deluxe Gosei Morpher, that shit is so spectacular it's on par with its Super Sentai counterpart the Gosei Power Releasement Vessel Tensouder.
