Geek-centric shoes from Adidas.

Sure, they're for sports, something the majority of geeks ignore, but check em out.

All these new "smart shoes" Ive heard about for the past couple of years is getting odd... my shoes are just fine, when they are worn out, simple trip to the shoe store and buy a new pair. Theyre cheap. I dont need my shoes to "adapt" to ground it was designed to walk on in the first place

Are we going to have "smart pants" and "smart women-tops" soon? Lord knows what that will do...

Though you know, it's pretty cool if you think about it from a hardware point of view. I mean, what possessed them to do this anyways? And can this technology be used for other things? Such as extreme sports where things like that may mean life and death? Blah blah blah.

Since foam will give more under varying pressures, advertisers can say it has ULTRA SMART ADAPTING SPACE-AGE MADEUPNAME MATERIAL, and that's how advertising works.

I am not buying something that expensive for my feet unless it has sliding jet skates. Where the hell are my jet skates? I want to slide everywhere at top speed without moving my feet.

Man, I was just thinking about the idiots out there who'll decide to overclock it and end up with broken toes or something.

It looks PIMPIN'! No seriously, I love the design but there's no way I'm paying 250 bucks for a shoe. My 15 dollar sneakers get me to the place I need all the time, so unless these things can fly or turn into a toaster, I'm not buying them.
