Also, I have read Les Miserables all the way through, unabridged (abridged books are for pussies), and it's one of my favorite books. Except for the stuff about the convents, which was informative, but kind of dull. As were the pages and pages and pages about Paris's sewers.

just let him act 13

nobody maybe it's because you control the pacing. A book still has pacing, sure, but you can read at your own speed and reread things very easily. In a theater, you can't do that, and at home or something it'd be annoying to rewind constantly.

He has too much anxiety. Sociopaths have no anxiety about anything, people who have too much anxiety are the opposite of sociopaths. I know this is is way too simplified but it is true enough.
