Don't quote me on this because I'm not 100% sure, but I think they basically take your blood, put it through a machine of some sort to filter the plasma for themselves, and then give back the rest back to you. It takes longer, but I don't think it should hurt more. Also, you recover from the blood giving quicker.

Depends on whether you think "nice" has to mean good.

Damn.

Damn indeed.
That is so fucked up.
This is going to scar the Japanese much worst than that bomb.
Judging from what I can see.

really

really?

and you think an earthquake changes everything permanently (if you're thinking it's just temporary I very much doubt you'd be making such a bold claim) to the color brown?

Well I've seen Cargoes piled up because of the earthquake, that seems to be more colorful enough.

Well not to be disrespectful or anything, but I also have a mangaka who lives within the Sendai area that may potentially be missing among many or dead among the 10,000.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure anyone? Yeah, that guy. Hirohiko Araki, the guy who made Dio and WRY. I hope his family is ok. Morioh-cho, the setting for series 4 was based on Sendai. In fact, that's his hometown.

Don't worry, Araki can't die.

He's a vampire.

Either way. I really wish he wasn't in the area when it happened. Because he isn't that popular as any other mangaka out there, I don't know If he's going to be confirmed alive or dead.

We first lost Marlon Brando, then Ronnie James Dio, now we can't lose Araki. He dies, Dio Brando dies.

Yup they take the liquid between your red blood cells out with a centerfuge putting the bloodcells back into your body. The recovery time is about 3 days or so. You can donate plasma twice a week if you want. I know some college kids who do it for beer money. In Denver they made like 80 bucks a week going twice a week, and a 50 dollar bonus if they donated 4 times in a month and it takes them about an hour, their initial screening was 2 hours. I don't know about phili.

Well, damn. There are no words to describe this destruction.

Also, those soulless husks who say japan deserved this for Pearl Harbour can kindly do us a favour and go fuck themselves in the ass with a pneumatic drill. This sort of scene is akin to Hiroshima after the A bomb, and the worst part of it is that nobody's to blame for it, due to this being the work of Nature.

Pearl Harbor is piddly compared to this. It's hardly poetic justice as it does not evenly reciprocate the crime.

Not to mention, the people who did PH and the people got earthquaked aren't even close to being mostly the same people.

Without even getting to how Japan was firebombed and nuked from hell and back in WWII itself already, anyways. You'd think people would call even stevens on the atrocities, huh?

But nope.

Annihilating civilian areas with ruthless thoroughness is apparently okay, while attacking a military installation is not (and the declaration was only delivered late by mistake).

It's amazing to me how people can complain about 9/11 yet not even have Dresden or Tokyo register in their mind.

Going to make an ignorant post: Are these pictures real? I mean, they look so brown.
The tree leaves are brown as well.

It looks like you got the bad ending to Chrono Trigger.

It's cause the tsunami threw up a lot of dirt and mud, and just covered everything in it. Not to mention all those agricultural fields that it no doubt just plowed through.

The great thing about people who say this is karma for Pearl Harbor don't know shit about it, they weren't there, they probably don't even have family that was there. It's hilarious.

Kinda made that point earlier, the pictures are shit quality and taken at different times of day so naturally it looks even worse than it is.

This is how it starts. the earthquake wakes Godzilla up. The radiation gets him worked up and then him and Mothra come and wreck up the place.

Ehh I know there are many people making jokes like that but you guys don't mind keeping it to a minimum though?

And to answer Mirak's question. Yes. They're real.

Most don't mean harm.

The only truly offensive people are those harping on about Pearl Harbor, or equating this to Katrina.

People who cope with humour are hardly a problem.
