My sister gave me a Jack Skellington tabletop nightlight... It's his head... so it kinda looks spooky when lit in the dark.
I mainly received nice black tees with some design/print from my aunts and brother.
I also got a nice tie and belt from my brother's girlfriend.

Something cute was that my soon-to-be-godchild gave me a tiny Micky Mouse snowglobe. Micky's wearing a santa hat... The kid's only 2 so I found that just adorable.

I got a laptop for Christmas. It's an HP Envy with Audiobeats.

My mom gave me a two pajamas and an Invader Zim jacket, plus some Nightmare Before Christmas gloves.

Then we went out to eat dinner at an old family friend's house with her family, a little boring but still nice.

We didn't do a lot 'cause we don't have much money to go out any where far since my dad wasn't around, also this year's christmas isn't a happy time for us right now.

An unexpected Christmas present I got this year? Left 4 Dead 2. Great game.

Well, I couldn't buy any gifts this year except for one. I got jacked on the 23rd, and they stole my wallet and keys. So, my boyfriend got a super bowl party at the Cosmopolitan Casino here in Vegas, so that's pretty fancy.

However, I got two video games that I already owned, Despicable me, and a $100.00 visa gift card which I then had to use to pay for the 160 it cost to replace the keys to my car. Mostly because I will not receive a new debit card until after new year's. Unfortunately, they stole my wallet and keys, not realizing that I'm fucking poor. So, they left behind the $400.00 special edition kid robot bag that I schlep everywhere. Fuckers.

Shortly after getting my laptop, I remember about my Steam account, installed Portal on my laptop and finished it today. (Remember that deal Valve made about making Steam free along with Portal?)

This Christmas was pretty good so far with all the surprises.

But my computer can barely play Spore, how will it do with Portal?

My father sent me an American Express gift card and no businesses will take it.

Yeah, AEx is probably is the least accepted credit card of the 3 majors. To my knowledge, it's because they charge a larger fee to the person receiving money than Visa or Mastercard do, and allowing AEx doesn't bring enough additional business to really justify that larger percentage being eaten out of their profit.

If you live in America though, hunt through enough restaurants and you'll probably find a place. It'll just take some effort.
