WTF happened over at twc....

At least it was a sort of friendly hack... just some crazy color changes and bad midi files... they didn't go through and delete everything.

Jukebox is the one who hacked the forums? What an ass hole. So Scythe you wanted him banned and he took his revenge on all of TWC. that's a bit... gay. Why do some people have to breath?

I'm begining to wonder what legal actions Pierre might take... with all the money problems he's been having lately... if this hacker left a trail it could mean a big hooray at the expense of parents who gave their 12 year old a computer.

1. Pierre could never sue the kid, lawsuits cost huge money (a decent lawyer is $300/hour).

2. Scythe its totally not your fault, WHY do you think that Jukebox was doing that? Because his intention from day one was to annoy people on TWC. He would have done this whether you said anything to him or not.

3. You guys can calm down, he got in through a backdoor in vBulletin, not the actual server. That means he could only tamper with the vBulleting settings, not stuff outside of that program. He could never tamper with or delete the posts en masse because they are stored in an SQL database that he can't access. At best he could just go through and delete threads one at a time.

Hm, up til now I didn't know it was the Jukebox doing this; I just thought it was a bunch of 14-year-olds, like what happened to the Snafu forum.

Oh well, it might actually be better that it was only one person, I guess. A person's easier to stop than an entire SA arsenal of assaholics.
