The lighting isn't nice at all for the both of them but still I'd go with Stuff considering all.

Stufflikehearts wrote:And saying things like "It being a part of Harry Potter actually lowers it and makes it worse." is hardly a review, but okay. Whatever you say.

It's like how the beginning prologue section of Up was basically the best animation short Pixar had produced in its existence.

Which was then pissed on, shat on, violated, defenestrated, and grilled on a skewer by the rest of the movie which was terrible.

There's just this outstanding, entertaining, fairly well done part of the film that would have been far better had it been standalone rather than the reality of its circumstances.

Jay, I love you. I thought I was the only person who didn't enjoy Up. Everyone is always jerking off to Pixar, and I think I only enjoy the Toy Story series, even though the 2nd was pretty weak, and Finding Nemo. I prefer old school, hand drawn Disney movies than that computer animated crap they keep putting out.

I didn't find UP to be all that great, either. Not necessarily bad, but not that good.
Too good for you.

Well..I liked Up a lot. I mean not really for the cuteness of it with the kid but it was also a film that didn't try to have marketable characters to sell as toys and what not. It just told a story and focused on that even if it stretched credulity some (I don't mean the balloons, you just have to accept that). It was a really sweet movie.

Well, like I said. I saw the first part of the movie (the "prologue") and I was like THIS MOVIE WILL BE FLAWLESS and I teared up.

And then the rest of the movie happened.

You expected the beginning to set the mood for the rest of the film?

I judge a movie by its merits.

Or more like, I don't really respect Disney at all, and you're right. I just took my sister cause she's a kid.

So I went in with LOW EXPECTATIONS.

Then the movie opens up, SUPER AWESOME EXCEEDING MY EXPECTATIONS. I was very pleased.

AND THEN THE REST OF THE MOVIE HAPPENED.

I'll agree with you that given the choice, I would have preferred the movie to remain depressing. But I knew what I went into the second the fat kid appeared.

Obvious fact:   Disney is dependent from PIXAR.

And I had saw the new trailer from PIXAR in the DVD "Toys Story 3". In the first moment, I thought "Ah great! a new movie of 'G-Force'...". But G-Force isn't from the PIXAR. And, then, it showed the new movie of "Cars", the "Cars 2".
I screamed "What? WHY?!". Lol, I didn't had expected this from them. "Cars" it's a great movie, then they will make the Second BETTER than the First?

I only liked the small jokes in Cars. Like the canadians car putting their locks on when they thought that one car was crazy.

I'll watch this one simply because it's Pixar.

I really don't know if I watch. It's the first time in my life that I suspect a movie from PIXAR! o.O
Cars, yeah, but cars spies? It's kids spies, cats spies, dogs spies, chinchila spies, bugs spies and now cars spies?
Really suspect...

Haha, the whole theater cracked up at that part when I watched it
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

I didn't like Up either. Not a fan of any Pixar stuff except Toy Story 1 and probably just because I was actually a kid when it came out. I did go see 3, it had its moments. Every Pixar movie that comes out is essentially cinematic gold according to critics, and if you don't agree? Well you get shat on, or you have "no soul."

Are they good films? Sure. I just cannot believe everyone loves them as much as they claim. There has to be some sort of peer pressure situation going on where people are too afraid to dislike them.
