Oh fuck yeah, this is news to me. I still haven't seen the very last episode of last season, and one in the middle somewhere.

LOL What the fuck! That was HILARIOUS.

Seriously, they just get better and better.

It made NO sense though.

If anyone is having trouble following the time line:
1) Watch Hank's hair
2) The CGC rating of the comic book drops in value throughout the story, so when it's at $0.00, at the beginning of the show, that's actually the end of the show.

From what I remember last night, this seems to follow the events:
   1. Brock gets taken to the agency's hospital/experiment bin, and has Helper's head stuck to his chest.
2. Number 24 is dead and 21 is trying to figure out what to do to bring him back.
3. Neo-nazis/poser Nazis demand that Dr. Venture revive Hitler with the dog
4. Sergeant Hatred is the new "bodyguard" of the family and Hank misses Brock [obviously].
5. Brock goes to the doctor who operated his old mentor and gets Helper's face out... plus the doctor makes him fat and puts a beard on him so he can hide better.
6. Hitler is the dog, so Dean loves Hitler and Hitler loves him.
7. Brock sends Helper's head back through mail, Dr Venture eventually reconstructs him into the monster thing.
8. Brock infiltrates the women team of Molotov Cocktease and spies on her plus his old mentor.
9. He fights a spy from the egyptian-like team and eventually gets captured by them.
10. After a couple of minutes, it is revealed his old mentor did the hermaphrodyte transformation as to infiltrate Molotov's team, and that HE is the leader of the egyptian-like team.
11. Dr. Orpheus fights the rebuilt Helper [can't remember why]. His attack kills the Nazis as well.
12. Hank is attacked by the Hitler dog, when all of a sudden Brock and his team appear and kill the dog.
I don't know where number 21 taking the X-1 and bringing his Larping buddies fits in the story line.

Er, well.....

   1) They didn't put Helper's head in him. When the care exploded, Helper's head was embedded into his chest. They weren't able to remove it safely.
2) Knew he was dead last season, and also, CLONING! That would be super sweet. I loved 21 & 14 together.
3) Super hilarious. Evil Hitler dog FTW.
4) Yeah, it seems the OSI messed with his mind and now he works for them.
5) Actually, I think that was the passage of time that did that. Because after he goes to see the doctor, he goes to live with the Bionic guy and Sasquatch. The idea is that he's there long enough to gain all that weight, etc. That's the impression I got.
6) This one was...a little odd, lol
7) Looks like some version of his Walking Eye.
8) This is still super hilarious. Were those other guys like... GI JOE Cobras?
9) Still think they look like Cobra Command.
10) HILARIOUS.
11) I don't remember either. Did if have something to do with the dog maybe? Or maybe Helper was going nuts.
12) Super sweet.

The LARPing...seems to have taken place either right after 24's death, or after 21 drops off the Marvel Comc #1 as payment for the clone. I'm obviously going to have to watch it again later, as it seems I'm a little muddled as well.

When I said "stuck" I meant to say stuck because of the last episode, not that they put it there lol but I should've been more clear.   And yeah I forgot about Brock and sasquatch. He has a hell of a metabolism to completely change back to badass brock in the time passage [which seemed to be about a month or two if you look at Hank's hair].

God I feel as giddy as a school girl since Venture Brothers came back! Best original show in Adult Swim hands down.

Oh definitely. Season 2's opening was the best. It was incredibly well done.

Anyway, I'm totally giddy as well. I love this show so so so much. Dr. Orpheus FTW.
Also, I really want to see what the deal is with Brock's son.

He is a perfect example of the show's theme of failure. While his dad [Brock] is a total badass of epic proportions, the kid sucks at even jumping around a room.

And if you guys are talking of the "Everybody's free" [by aquagen] opening, I agree that it was one of the best opening songs ever... I love all types of electronica. I still can't pass the song in my Zune without turning it all the way up and rolling down my windows.

Wow that episode was WEIRD. The comic thing was confusing as hell and kinda dumb. Right until it showed it being worth $500,000 and then plummeting. As soon as it all made sense with that it was that oh moment that made all the confusion and wtf feelings turn into hilarity.

I liked it.

That was a great Johnny Quest homage.

I'm waiting to see where they take this Sphinx thing. I also get the feeling that the whole LARP crew will be better explained in a coming episode. Also, was I the only one disappointed in the lack of the Monarch?

You weren't the only one dissapointed 54. But if you look at this sunday's preview, the Monarch appears there.

Yeah, lack of Monarch was kind of bizarre. They probably just didn't have time to shove him in there. Which is fine, or he might have felt "shoved in there," which would have hurt the show.

It's not just the Everybody's Free song that made S2's opening great; the montage that went along with it was also fantastic.

Oh of course, the montage was what made the opening awesome. I showed it to my friends on youtube and they thought that somebody had incredible AMV skills haha.

Watched it again, and finally pieced it together. Brock's story line goes forward, while the Venture story line goes backwards, then they meet at the end of the episode (after the credits). Brock's hair grows and his body changes so quickly (seemingly) because 8 months pass.

The Nazi guys tell Doc that he has 8 months to clone Hitler. So when they're back at the end, 8 months have passed.

It's nice to see that it wasn't just a couple of months. I do find it strange that Hank's hair only grew that long after 8 months. I mean, I used to have hair as short as Hank and Dean's, and after 3 months my hair was somewhat similar to Hank's hair.

I'm also hoping that Hank doesn't get bored of Dean too badly. We've seen from the previews that he stops hanging out with Dean for a while [or at least misses Dean at some point]. I know I'm not the only one who goes "Go Team Venture!" with some of his friends [or maybe even Mecha-Shiva].

Just saw it earlier tonight. They're airing it each night this week until Thursday.

Yeah, there are some things you won't really fully get at first pass through the episode. But it rocks. Hard.

At first, I thought they were wanting Dean to head back to the past to kill Hitler originally. And in the scene after that, the spyguy made mention of Venture's room being a time machine. So it sorta just messed with my head until they revealed the dog.

Think you know? You don't know DICK! ... Yeah, I can totally see people quoting that for a while. XD
