I do the same.
I even quote people I've met, if they make a good one.
Then recording your own quotes feel the most satisfying, though I only have 2 from myself.

I'm quite the quote collector too, but I don't think I've ever recorded a quote of my own.
Stufflikehearts - He is a Sith Lord. I love Blood Lord :3
Jeffffey - Blood, you look at the information someone says, look over what really happened, and reply in a way that makes them realize what they were really thinking.
Light10s - Blood Lord! Your avatars are becoming more epic. You make me feel like getting on all fours and submitting my loyalty and obedience to you.
Fievel - Numerous campaigns and conquests, countless bodies decaying after the abandonment of victorious battlefields. Such is the life of Blood Lord.
Dusk_Imp - Blood Lord is like a celebrity here. Everything he does is pure awesome. ALL HAIL BLOOD LORD
Doctress Who - Why couldn't there be a Blood Lord in every forum? It would make life so much easier.

So if it's okay, I'm just gonna address the elephant in the room here and ask: Why did you decide to change your name from Blood Lord, to Guardian? Can I still call you Blood Lord?

Well from my side, I don't think that would be wise because newcomers will see the name Guardian and you guys are still calling him Blood Lord or.....Blordy LOL. I don't know, some would start to ask who the hell are they talking to?!?!?!?!? Just saying. Its up to him though.

Not a big deal. There are a handful of people with name changes, and older members still refer to them as their old handle. It's relatively easy to understand who they're referring to.

Perhaps I'm tired, lonely and ready for a name change. Perhaps I no longer see myself as a Blood Lord but something less than what I once was. Perhaps its a manifestation of a realization of who and what I am once a mask is removed. Why does it matter? Why should anyone even care?

I've always considered it common courtesy to call people by their correct names or nicknames they approve of.

The only thing that really confused me when I started posting was when Exodis was Randori and people still called him Exodis. It wasn't too big of a deal though and it's easy enough to sort out.

That first paragraph guardian said just reminded me of V for Vendetta.

I didn't really mind. It actually felt nice, showing that people knew me well enough to still call me from my original name.
As I saw the creature, I was as white as an egg. I was so scared I might crack from fear. As the humanoid began to lunge after me, I was walking on egg shells from how scared I was. It grabbed me, took me to its station, and cracked me open. The last thing I saw were my yellow insides cooked on a pan. Human nature is as evil as a rotten egg.

Stuff: Exodis is funnier than people give him credit for.

The joke wasn't directed at you (considering you weren't even in the conversation), nor am I even sure what "this" is referring to.

You're right. The joke was directed at Guardian, and that is what I'm referring to. Last thing I want to deal with today is typical internet ignorance. People taking something someone says and acting like it means nothing.

If you still don't get what I'm talking about, then I'm done. Either way, I'm not in the mood for explaining anymore.

.__. do ya'll peeps got a chatbox of some sort and I just can't find a link to it somewhere or something?

.x. either that, or this place is a lot smaller than I thought it would be.
It hosts some BAMF comics though .__.; can't imagine why it wouldn't be...bigger I guess.
Unless some super insane drama happened years ago that broke things up? I've seen that happen on sites b4.
Sorry if that sounds offensive. I'm just curious at this point.
Was there a prime for SNAFU that's past by now?

Some of the members go on skype chats often. That's the best you're gonna get aside from the spam section.

And I am grateful this forum is small, because familiar people reappear often. And please use proper English.

Well....

I guess I was more or less asking why isn't SNAFU more popular?
Or maybe it is, just people don't bother with the forums, they just read the comics and such?

There was a prime. But many of the comics stopped updating, so traffic also slowed.
Not to mention, many people may hesitate before joining. People may not notice that the forums are larger than the Update Section, so they may not join for various reasons.

Throughout the forums there are a few spots. Many places where you can chat with others. If you're looking for a live chat, then MadDoc's mention of Skype is pretty much it.

Depending on what you're looking for, each Sect also has regulars. There are some people you may see that only visit, or post, in a certain section/thread(s). Just a lurk around, see if anything peaks your interest.

Well snafu is a very old place in which it's amazing that it's still here. Most of the comics here are not very good and Bleedman's comics are the only ones that are actually worthwhile. During the time when the PPGD newgrounds game came out, that's probably when the site got more activity. I've seen even less activity from another forum that dedicates to the 1996 Macintosh game Marathon, but it's not abandoned, or anything of the sorts.

v__v sounds kinda depressing when you say it like that....
Comics don't have to have good art to have widespread readership though.
They're like movies, you can have crappy cinematography and shots, but still hit the box office hard with a good story and acting.
Or, if your name is Michael Bay, vice versa.

Snafu's been around for about 11 years. Dave, the owner of the website; doesn't even care about this place anymore. However we do have BeeAre. Snafu's forums might be small, but I'm perfectly okay with that. It's like a small town community.

I agree with you. The art style of a comic doesn't have to be great in order for it to be enjoyable. However, being aesthetically pleasing is always a plus.

EDIT: By the way, just out of curiosity: What comics have you read so far?

.__. late reply is late. Been working double shifts for the past two days.

I've read through just about all of them by now. I lurked and just read comics for a while.
Think the only one I've haven't read into is Digital Purgatory.
TBH my favorite one out of them all is Sticky Floors, then Ever After, with Sugar Bits in a close third.
