I wouldn't mind being where Kris is. That's the kind of weather I like, can't stand the cold. Best temperature we got this year so far was 77 Fº, and around here that can still be a bit chilly.

It's going to go from the mid 50's to the mid 80's by the weekend. I rather if it stayed 60 year round.

It will never happen though, just like something as retarded as an old, shitty house going up in value will never stop and cities will continue to rot from the inside.

And I had no idea the UK used anything other than metric. That blows.

The people in the UK are fiercely defensive of their pints. It might even be a riot to take that away.

I do have a practical question, how fast over the speed limit do you guys who use the metric system go as general principle? like is it 5 or 10 or 20 km over?

Yeah, about 10km/h is generally tolerated.

Depends where, of course. Like, speeding in a school zone's sorta a no-no....

Overrated Southern California is where I live. I want to live either in Canada, Japan, or Australia/New Zealand.

Yeah it's generally accepted to do 5 mph over in the US, but different states have different standards.

None if there's any cops around. Otherwise, whatever you want :P

I think what you're referring to is the fact that most people travel 5-10km/h faster than the limit indicates, though.

Right, what's generally done and what the law is are often different.

God I wish we'd just switch to metric already.

I find it stupid that we even had to make the word metre into meter when we aren't even using the system. Plus, politicians might seem "unamerican" to try to push metric on us, and they're already preoccupied with teh economies (even if metric could cut time costs for conversions and make businesses run more smoothly, especially in the age of globalization). It would be a minimal effect overall, but it's still increasing productivity, and small differences still matter.

when I was in elementary school they told me the same thing. Metric by high school.

Fucking DOUCHE old people too scared to switch.

Anyhow switching to metric would also create a good number of jobs just employing people to switch all the sign in america over to metric. or making new pacages and things fo say a gallon of milk. or mechanics switching to just metric tools would save them a lot of money.

It would help.

Go let the President know, Dave.

Wouldn't Obama have like, a private email or something?

Got Saints Row 2 off of steam for 30 bucks, TONS BETTER THAN GTA 4. My character sounds like the sniper from tf2, WANKAS!

Actually mentioning steam games. You know what I thought was a very underrated game was vampire the masquerade bloodlines. I thought that game was quite good, well after I added the official and unofficial patches because the game is buggy as shit on just a plain install. Game reminded me of mass effect only with vampires and older graphics, still good though but older.

I can not play Fallout 3 without being reminded of Oblivion at every freaking turn. I know they use the same engine, but it really is Oblivion with guns. And more brown.

Fallout 3 and Oblivion are both crazy boring, the driving story is completely retarded, and all the side missions are also completely retarded. But what would've made things alot better would've been a better inventory system, one that doesn't require you to mitigate all your shit in order to carry something new, and being able to switch guns without having to bring up your damn pip boy every five fucking seconds.

I wish they got more voice actors for Oblivion.
Or at least, the same people to do different voices.
