ok, so you've beaten the Phantom and Kurt Zisa, but have you beaten Sephiroth, the undisputed badass of Kingdom Hearts? It took me nearly 5 tries, but I finally defeated that bastard 3 nights ago! oh, but it was soooooooo sweet when he finally went down....

so, has anyone else beaten him?

oogie boogie can't touch him... I remember just running on the roulette wheel right by him (he was up top) and then when he stopped the wheel those cages came up but if your in the same section as him you can start wailing on him. I think I also used the Genie summon and toasted his butt. but I can't remember. besides I'm getting off of the happy gas now from the dentist so everything I say could be a bit... odd.

When I play KH, I'm just going to GET to Seph, then I'm going to join him, or let him kill me. Killing Sephiroth is just SOO wrong.

I was so happy when I finally started to see his damage meter go down. Never got all of the purple gone... Sephiroth will rule me until I get to level 100 or so...

All the other bosses kick my ass, but not a fast as Sephy.

When you're in the wheel, you have to watch him and follow him, make sure than when you stop the wheel, you and Oogie Boogie are in the same spot. Then you can whack the shit out of him for a little while, then do it all over again.

The Halloween Town level was my favorite. I really liked nightmare before christmas, and Jack was a bad ass, I had him in my party at all times out of respect unlike that pillow biter peter pan.

Yeah, I never really used the themed characters unless I had to.
In Agrabah you have to use Aladdin in order to activate some of the gem stones.
To return to the clock tower in Never Land you have to use Peter Pan to talk to Tinker Bell in the ship.
And in Hallow Bastian you have to use the Beast to knock into some blocked passageways.
From what I can remember, those are the only times that you actually HAVE to use the themed characters.....

i myself liked the themed characters, the onlyreason why was because donald keeped on getting K.O.ed and ide have to revive him, only good thing that lil bastard was good at was magic, but Goffy was the shit.

1.) Sephiroth is pretty easy once you learn some of his moves. You just have to have alot of elixirs on standby and really know how to work your cure spell (took me abot 3 tries).

2.) Its a good idea to always use the themed characters. The experience system is setup so no one ever gets really "left behind" as far as non controllable characters go and almost every character has moves made especially for his region (Tarzan kicked more ass than Goofy or Donald ever DREAMED of). I usually replaced goofy since Donald had his spells...but then I got this one skill for Goofy where he gave out his MP as a gift every so often and since I needed more and more MP he became my main man and I usually dumped the duck.

I know there's this fucker in the desert that carpet takes you to, and I think there's supposed to be something at the Never Land clock tower...but I dunno if it's in the US version or not....
