How could I forget to mention this?!? A year of free Gamepro! No strings attached and yeah. I've never really liked Gamepro but free makes it pretty good.
This strip is my fond memories of Sonic Adventure. It's first rendition on the Dreamcast is what really made me a "die hard" Sonic fan instead of the normal "fan". But to this day I don't understand why on earth would they put a fishing game in Sonic? I mean seriously the whole game is based of of SPEED. There is NOTHING speedy about fishing for a frog. Most awful experience of my life. Next time a game company adds a pointless, unrelated mini game and forces players to play it I'm going to kill a dolphin. This is non-negotiable.
THANK YOU everyone for voting today. It's way early in the morning and Snafu has already got a spot on the Top Ten. Very exciting indeed. But seriously keep it up for the whole month and make a VERY happy web cartoonist. This past oh five minutes had already filled me so full of desire to work on Snafu it hurts. I've just been hit with a wave of ideas for "special" stuff to make for Snafu this month because of it. I really could never explain how happy this is making me.
I added a new Sonic Wallpaper to the art section. It's just the first frame all big and yeah. Nothing special just kinda liked it.
The Poll system seems to be working perfectly now and it even has some anti-cheating measures implimented. Neat neat. So yeah I'll update with a new poll in just a second. Oh and to explain the poll's purpose is A) For me to better see how to make Snafu what you want it to be. and B)Something fun for you guys to do for 10 seconds. So yeah if you could vote on the poll although if you have to vote somewhere please let it be the Buzz Comix vote button above.
Also if you'll notice I added a new Featured Comic section to the site. The first featured comic is MRRR. The creators run a really top notch site that everyone should check out. I haven't decided how long comics stay in the box, I think I'll just wing it on how long they stay.
Then I updated the Crew section with the two newest members in the Snafu Crew. Halo and Layne. The Crew section is more or less my way of saying thanks for helping out.
I'm sure I'm forgetting something but for the life of me I can't remember anything else...
Sorry my internet shut down yesterday and I didn't get a chance to upload the comic until now. But yeah the new comic is at the first and I have to get to work on a lot of site stuff right away.
Ok within a Day or two I'm retiring some of my old comics that by all means suck ass. Here is the supposid hit list for now. Not saying they'll all be cut (most likely) and I'm not saying these are all that will be cut (maybe a few more.) But if you want to see them before they're gone here is your chance.
This is one of the all time largest Guest Comics Snafu has ever received. Done by the masterful Edgar of Juzzy Inc. I love his art style and his references to past Snafu Comics is just amazing. Seeing how large this comic was and the HUGE amount of work I'm sure it took, I took the liberty of making a Wallpaper for it. It's in the Art Section up top. But in the mean time go check out Juzzy Inc. cuz it's one of the best comic currently on the internet.
I liked the movie and screw you guys for not liking it. I actually thought of and all but made this comic before actually seeing the movie. The sequal didn't nearly rely as heavily on giant jigglies as the first one did but still...
I must explain the horrible events though that tried their dangest to stop me from making this comic. First my internet stoped. Completely. In mid conversation with Halo the guy fixing my poll system. So I still don't know the status of the poll. Quite disturbing really. So I tried my best to get my internet back up. This included restarting my computer umpteeth times, chaning DNS Sever info, IP Address, reseting my Wireless uplink unit. All and all I BROKE my internet hardcore. I'll have to call Tech Support in the morning. So then I thought we'll I'll just use a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk to move the comic to my roomates computer which has internet and upload from there. I found out my floppy drive doesn't work. It used to but it doesn't anymore. So I open up my computer and find out it's just not plugged in. When I got my new hard drive the computer place didn't plug my CD-R back in either. So I plugged my Floppy drive back in and now my computer just wouldn't start period. So yeah weird. Bothered me a bit. Still is bothering me a bit. I liked my floppy drive... Not as much as my "hard" drive though... I'm going to computer pun hell.
My roomate was nice enough to hook me up with his internet connection though at the last second (thank goodness)
Oh and Harry Potter is a very very good book. Too bad it's going to take me three or four years to finish it.
