I liked the movie and screw you guys for not liking it. I actually thought of and all but made this comic before actually seeing the movie. The sequal didn't nearly rely as heavily on giant jigglies as the first one did but still...
I must explain the horrible events though that tried their dangest to stop me from making this comic. First my internet stoped. Completely. In mid conversation with Halo the guy fixing my poll system. So I still don't know the status of the poll. Quite disturbing really. So I tried my best to get my internet back up. This included restarting my computer umpteeth times, chaning DNS Sever info, IP Address, reseting my Wireless uplink unit. All and all I BROKE my internet hardcore. I'll have to call Tech Support in the morning. So then I thought we'll I'll just use a 3 1/2 inch floppy disk to move the comic to my roomates computer which has internet and upload from there. I found out my floppy drive doesn't work. It used to but it doesn't anymore. So I open up my computer and find out it's just not plugged in. When I got my new hard drive the computer place didn't plug my CD-R back in either. So I plugged my Floppy drive back in and now my computer just wouldn't start period. So yeah weird. Bothered me a bit. Still is bothering me a bit. I liked my floppy drive... Not as much as my "hard" drive though... I'm going to computer pun hell.
My roomate was nice enough to hook me up with his internet connection though at the last second (thank goodness)
Oh and Harry Potter is a very very good book. Too bad it's going to take me three or four years to finish it.
Great night, I watched an hour of MTV Spider-Man then went and saw the midnight showing of Tomb Raider. I don't know about everyone else but I absolutely love the MTV Spider-Man... When he's Spider-Man. They really do the superhero side right. But when he's Peter Parker and every other supporting character for that matter I want to strangle ever single MTV employee on Times Square. For one they made Peter WAY too cool, he's supposed to be a dork. And Mary Jane isn't supposed to be the one begging to be with Peter it should be Peter with the unstopable crush on her. J. Jonah Jameson's character is a crime against the Spider-Man world. I'd rather take a punch to the boys then witness MTV slaughter them any further. But they they show some Spidey action and I'm all happy again. Tomb Raider was an extremly fun movie for me, there were a few tiny inconsistencies that bothered me but I still loved it. That's all I'll say about that. All and all I couldn't have asked for a better night. Well yeah I guess I could have. My ex-boss was at the theater and he actually called me Davey. Now that's FINE from people I know and LIKE. Heck call me "Dip Shit" if you so desire, but Davey from him is still just gnawing at my spinal cord. I want that fat fuck dead, there really is no other way around it.
About the poll for a hint when it's done... The Text WILL be white so you can read it. As long as it'd black that means "I'm a work in progress."
Hmmm News news. I finaly beat Baulder's Gate with my friend Nick. By I beat I mean I died and watched him play most of the game. But the whole idea for the comic came from a line from the Lizard tradesmen who said something along the lines of "To face you is to die." And I quickly replied "To face ~me~ is to get blood all over you hands." and yeah... well you had to be there. And Nick renamed those pots that explode when you hit them to Dave killers. Stupid item whore traps, my main weakness.
I must also mention that this was one of the quickest comics I've ever done. But in my efforts to haul butt I came up with a new way to shade which has VERY similar results to how I used to do it that will cut down on my time drastically. This is good for everyone.
Super Rad new link today. Spud Monkey. It's a webcomic dedicated to poking fun at "real" comics. Mainly DC and Marvel comics from what I've seen. The art is absoulutely amazing especially in their art section and the comics are perfect for any comic fans. This one comes highly recomended by me. Besides they make fun of Aquaman the all time gayest super hero ever. No, Robin doesn't count, he's a side kick.
The forums seem to be doing well again. As of now we have 16450 posts. Not to shabby. Although we're still playing catch up to how many posts we had when the forums were on Top Web Comics. Since then though the forums have been reset twice. Meh maybe you guys can help out? (That means join the forums and become chaty bitches.)
The Poll seems to be functional now but it's still not complete. It needs some major asthetic changes and a few more programing... stuff. But Halo (the programer) promises me that it will be completed by Saturday. Here's to hoping. I'll be sure to announce when the poll is all official and stuff.
Oh and just as a heads up I've been chosen to be a Buzz Comix judge for the upcoming Buzz Awards. It's still in the "Let's talk about it" stage of things but once it gets moving along I'll be sure and announce that one to.
