hmmm seems the poll still isn't quite fixed... Bummer. Don't bother voting it's got the percentages and other things all screwed up... Blast. We'll keep working on it. Be we I mean Halo cuz well yeah he knows what he's doing and I just wait. So yeah vote if you want but I don't know how accurate it is. I want the Poll Back so so badly.
Sorry about all the error's on the page yesterday... and currently but hopefully within an hour or so it will be all fixed and the poll will be functional again. And with that Snafu is officially back to what it used to be before my host screwed me over.
I should also mention that This Comic Sucks just went through a site redesign as well. It looks Ultra Spiffy and should be viewed imediately.
Now back to MY redesign. I don't have the Snafu Logo anywhere except in the forum and that seems a bit odd. I guess the Logo is almost cameo-ing with the comic navigating buttons but the full on Logo isn't anywhere. Unless I get an idea of where I should put it I may just leave it gone.
Yeah as I'm sure you've noticed Snafu just went through some pretty heavy site reconstruction. As far as redesigns have gone this has been
A) The most successful with by far the least problems.
B) My Favorite look yet.
C) The Most Functional one to date.
D) The hardest redesign by far.
Now background images are only for asthetic purposes instead of being crucial for the navigation buttons. This means all those people who don't have browsers that support backgrounds can now surf through Snafu like the rest of us.
But this all came at the price of me working my butt off on it for two days straight. I'm going insane over it. My brain hurts and I'm pissy. Basically I've sworn to myself to NEVER touch this design once it's fully finished until have and know how to use something like Dream Weaver. HTML can go fuck itself right in the ear.
Also the Links page just went through a much needed pruning. Basically all the sites that seemed inactive were cut from the section. If you happen to have a site that was cut and shouldn't have been E-mail Me.
Forums have been coming back rather well. I'm really impressed. Thanks to everyone who's signed up and hung out. Oh and as a plug for the forums the new ones have a few features the last ones didn't such as my favorite a stats page that compares everything from posts, age, gender, and most anything else. It's really quite interesting to me and the more people that sign up the more meaningless stats I can stare at.
I really really really have to apologize to The Crew for how long I've held onto this guest comic. I received it back when Snafu was having hosting problems and since Snafu's been back up I've kept having something come up every Tuesday or Thursday. My bad. But now that it is finally up go give their site a quick looksie. It's gone over a massive redesign for a much darker sleeker look. Plus the characters had an overhaul in art style which is best demonstrated by Dae's avatar. Infact if you go to their site one of the three main characters (you'll see them in the top left) was inspired by my Dave character. It's really quite the honor. And I really like their new style of art.
alright I'm about halfway on the redesign for Snafu. Instead of leaving the half improved MESS I usually do I decided to stick with the finished old design until I can work on it again tomorrow evening. So yeah. Just for you knowledge the new site look is a lot more bland than this one. But it uses less backgronds which will make it load quicker, and other browers besides the newest Internet Explorer will handle it better. At least I think it should...
I was just looking at the comic and it occured to me that I am improving at Photoshop. Took me a year but I'm STARTING to get the hang of the program. Someday I'll get this right. Sorry you have to see the comic in the work in progress stage it's constantly in. But when I think of what it used to be a year ago I want to vomit. I can only hope next year looking back at this point I'll think the same thing.
This is more or less my comic making fun of me for getting a Ticket Saturday. Yeah I was going a lil bit over 75 mph... Oh well. I swear I'm a better driver when I'm speeding though. When I went back down to the limit I started day dreaming and got board and pissed and yeah... I hate speed limits.
As you can see I'm trying to change the Navigation Buttons on the left. Chances are I'll bust it several time before it starts to look right. Oh well. Hopefully in the morning Snafu will look Spiffy and New. Hopefully.
