K yeah it's not actually Snafu's birthday today it happened a month ago but since I got screwed during that month and couldn't update I'm doing it now. Sorry bout the confusion. I'd like to thank Wayne of This Comic Sucks for letting me use their logo for the comic. Too bad I didn't get the idea to use it until last night around too late o'clock, I asked permission but didn't get a reply until after I already made and put up the comic. Luckily Wayne is an ultra cool guy. Luckily indeed.
Now for the cool news, My old Beat Drawing is now in Sega.com's Fan Art collection! True if you notice I beat out 13 year olds but meh I'm a fan of beating down children for my own personal gain. Anyways I'm happy about it. Happy like a fox, mwahahahaha... oh man that didn't make any sense.
Yeah Hapoppo was referencing the rant I did on the 8th titled Vector Man. Basically in that rant I was pissed off that they turned Vector Man into the fuck stick he is now. I'm totally with Hapoppo in that I'm sick of all these "Me Too" games.
Now for an apology from me to Hapoppo. He did this comic last month. But thanks to my OLD host being the ass holes they are I had to just sit on this comic this whole time. Not only that but now for the worst news of all. Hapoppo's site just barely shut it's doors. So basically I suck as a person not being able to get this up until WAY too late. But give his now deceased site a visit.
More news I'm not sure if the guest comic I had planned for Thursday is going up now cuz I'm waiting for an e-mail reply from the author. But hey maybe it still will who knows. Of course the normal Snafu comics will go up Wednesday and Friday as planed.
K, I know I said I'd get through my e-mails before you read the above post but I'm only about half way and I'm so tired I could die. I had a lot more than I thought I did. Gah I'll finish them tomorrow.
This is actually a VERY accurate portral of what actually happened. Well it would be accurate if you doubled the bull shit and added two spoon fulls of ass fisting and a cup of blistering frustration. I won't go into all the details but we can safely say there are a few companies out there who aren't on my christmas card list anymore.
By the fact that you can now see this post DJ has got the posting system fixed. Hooray. I've also updated the look to most of the site. I've also nearly finished a Snafu Crew page. All that's left is input from the actual crew members and it will go up.
Things that still need to be fixed are the forum and the poll system. We're trying to get both up as soon as possible. A few MySQL issues are hindering us but that tends to happen I suspose.
For the people who e-mailed me about those bars on the side of the comic it ~was~ intentional but nobody seemed to like them so I replaced it with solid black, hope you like it.
Now my top priority on my to do list is catch up on e-mail again. Like I said Friday the dave@snafu-comics.com e-mail wasn't working consistently because of hosting issues. If I don't get a reply to you by the time you read this the e-mail just never reached me, sorry. Infact the more I think of it it's a wonder the address is even still working at all since I'm not sure how to set up e-mail accounts on this new host as of yet... That's the new top priority on my to do list.
