Oh and just as a review of my weekend. My friends wedding was awesome coolest thing I've ever been to. Two night in a row though I was pissy. I watched DareDevil a second time. I watched Blood the Last Vampire two more times. I bought Hunter the Reckoning for 10 bucks and have since played the hell out of it. I currently have a massive headache from it. My gums are still swollen from the dentist and I enjoy Taco Bell. That's my weekend in a nut shell.
Man alive looking back over my comic holy crap was I out of it. I mean seriously Dave looks chubby in one frame then belemic in the next. And Travis has fatty eyebrows... I don't do fatty eyebrows. I was soooo out of it. Meh.
I'm back. I'd like to say this comic idea was thought of before the dentist... But it was drawn (except for the Dare Devil part) right after I got done from the Dentist. I can honestly say I have NEVER EVER been so smashed from Happy Gas in my entire life. So that's what I blame the crapily drawn Dave on. I thought of this because I got a free Dare Devil poster for going to the premiere. When I hung it up I felt odd that I had a poster of Ben Affleck on my wall. Then I looked at my other two wall decortations. I had one of Spider-Man and one of Rulon Gardner that Olympic gold medalist for Wrestling. All heros and all men who wear tight spandex. This had to become a comic, it was destiny.
By the way the comic also pimps the latest art to hit the art section. Just a small lil doodle of Dare Devil (seen in the comic) that I did just cuz.
New link today. Monster Monkey. honestly this comic is beyond good and way past great and borderline perfect. The art is amazing and the writing even more so. I had to ask for a link exchange. I would have BEGGED for a link exchange but luckily David over that way is a nice guy and it didn't come to that. But yes go there now if you have a soul.
This Comic Sucks is celebrating their one year anniversary (and 50th comic) next week. They're currently taking guest strips so if any of you are interested send one over Wayne's way. I've already commited to making one.
J.J. from Filibuster was on the Canadian news! check that out by going to Filibuster or directly here. I was way impressed with how well J.J performed under pressure and he had a much better arguement than the London dude. I might just be inspired to make a comic on the whole event.
I have a guest comic for tomorrow and next Tuesday but I've decided to stock pile them. My reasons? Well I already know I'll be gone for a week. So I thought I'd keep the guest stuff so I can update with something while I'm elsewhere. Sorry guest comic people, you have to wait.
K I'm almost to the critical moment when I go to the theater and wet myself over Dare Devil. Hoo Ha.
A bit of site news first. I added a new link I neglected to the first time (oopsies). It's called My Life At Howarts and it's a sprite comic. Basically it's about two female witches in the Harry Potter universe. One evil and one good and thus comic mischeif insues. It's in the sprite section of the link section if your interested.
I also trimed the Art section a bit since my first wallpaper and art with photoshop sucked ass so I just took them down. The Art section thanked me afterwards. Then I added on to the Art section with some random sketches of Dave and Travis done by Layne Carroll. Definately worth a look.
Yeah I was about [ ] this close to getting in a car wreck just barely. I really wonder if the guy just didn't see me or didn't look... He had a stop sign and I was on the main road and yeah he tried his best to T-bone me. I totally put all emphasis of me not getting in a wreck on me playing video games. I swerved and speed up and BARELY got out from in front of him. If I would have gone straight at constant speed my driver's side door would have been SQUARELY smashed. I feel so good about myself right now woo. Oh yeah Dare Devil tonight WOOO WOOO WOOO.
How could I forget tomorrow is Valentines day which means... DAREDEVIL is out! WOOOOOO. I've been waiting for this far too long. WOOOOOO.
I'm going to go to a wedding Saturday and it's my first personal friend to get married EVER. Basically it's the begining of the end for my old High School group. Le Sigh. I'll be sure to use my Metal Gear Solid stealth skillz to get some covert-ops pictures of the whole event (no I won't.)
Panzor Dragoon Orta is a freaking amazing game. For about five hours. Then it's over it's completely done there is NOTHING left. It's down right depressing. I rented this game last Friday. A friend and I switched off every other turn so it had the advantage of dealing with not one but two learning curves (by the way my friend caught on much quicker than I.) and the game was still short. After I beat the main game I thought "well there is still the entire first Panzor Dragoon to play" Well that took about 40 minutes tops. Then they're still the missions to beat (20 minutes). I mean I even looked at the entire extra art gallery. There just isn't anything to do on this game after day one. But those five hours are five hours WELL SPENT and I HIGHLY recommend renting this one for a weekend. The only thing I know of that's shorter and quicker than Panzor Dragoon Orta is... well you guess.
I have a holiday from school on Monday so I've decided to do the only American thing to do. I'm not updating on Monday unless by some freak act of comic mishap I make a comic today... and that's just not going to happen. I want the day off and I'm taking it. Sorry. But you've been warned.
The "new" avatars I made aren't final I've got to make some changes to them. For one I need to smile since I look depressed. Nix's tie is the wrong color and he looks all pouty. DJ has a goatee that I neglected to put in. and Wayne's sweeter looks like a mullet at first glace. I'll fix em.
I really have to announce that I've watched the two BEST ANIME's EVER recently. Armitage: Dual Matrix and Blood: The Last Vampire. I can hardly call them movies they were more of an experience. I highly recomend both since the animation was just top notch amazing. I'm still giddy. Blood is neat.
