I've been meaning to make this second one for the Can of Ninja Repellant comic for ever. I just finally got around to it now. This comic probably totaly time wise took me longer than any comics I've done for months. I don't plan to put that much effort in again for some time. I don't doubt that eventually I'll just get quicker and improve the daily comics to something similar to this but not now. No freaking way. But yeah if you can't tell I'm rather infaturated with the game Shinobi. Honestly I've said it before and I'll say it again. If I made a game pre Shinobi this game would have been it... except American. Honestly the character design is EXACTLY what I would do. Tall thin, weird poses, the thin red lines on the suit, the upclose combat, and the speed boost are all elements I fully planed on one day putting into a game. In fact the only thing I would change is get rid of the massive amounts of Japanese cultural influences and replace them with something I like. Like instead of Ninja dogs I'd have... some thing... Man what do you replace Ninja dogs with? Ninja rabbits or something? But yeah you know what I mean.
The Emoticons are all set up for the forums so that's a major plus. woo. I think we've got some hella good ones to. I dunno I liked them. Thanks goes out to all the people that helped me pick them and DJ for putting them up.
Oh yeah I forgot I also updated my Web Cam finally. Basically my roomate found this GIANT poster of a super model. So I had Nick (the above mentioned roomate) write a neat little signature to me on it. You'll have to go see the web cam to find out what that was. cough Other section cough.
Speaking of Web Cam I'm not too sure I want to keep making these things. I'd rather spend the Photoshop time doctoring up pictures of Nix 's mom or something. But yeah basically I want some feed back from you guys. via e-mail should I A) keep doing the web cam cuz it's fun and you guys like it or B) screw the web cam you've never looked at it yet and you don't plan to. or C) Screw the web cam while it's on for everyone to see. That's your options for now.
K basically this is me being a fanboy of Time Splitters 2. On multiplayer being the monkey is a killer advantage and double shotguns just feels oh so right. Credit for the original quote from this comic goes out to Dave Pierson cuz he's that cool. Oh and an alternate ending was "having double shotguns means never having to throw poopie again." I liked them both but meh. Oh and umm this comic is only half comic. It's actually a smalle cropped version of the newest wallpaper in the Art section. Two birds with one stone. Excellent.
My roomate Nick is officially the coolest person alive. He gave me a CD that had a NES and a SNES emulator on it with EVERY NES GAME EVER plus all the SNES games that are worth while. Nick I love you man. You've single handedly guaranteed that I'll fail every class I ever take from here on out. Thanks.
Speaking of failing classes it's been one week of my Java Programing class and I don't care if it's required or not I'm not taking this class you can't make me. I'm checking out of it tomorrow and this is final. This is NOT up for negotiation. The teacher is a child molester and a terrorist. The authorities just haven't caught him yet. But I know his true nature you can't fool me Mr. Tod Amon. Your time will come.
I've been watching a megafuckton of movies lately that I haven't mentioned for some reason. So here I go. Death to Smoochy, it's hilarious and an all around fun movie will enough sexually inferences to keep anyone laughing. Zoolander, such a classic I don't usually watch movies twice but this is just a really really ridiculously good movie... to talk like. Then Feardotcom I can honestly say I was shitting myself on several parts of the movie. It felt a LOT like The Ring but without the staying power. I mean after the movie was over It felt more dumb than scary. Plus the ending with the phone pissed me off so we went to the Director's Commentary (first time ever.) to see if that would make sense of it. Well that Director can suck it cuz all he said was "I'm not going to say what this means the real clue is the music playing in the background." I hate that man. Then yeah I'm sure there have been more movies but I don't care to remember anymore.
Jet Set Radio Future is a great great game... that sucks. It's so the inferior version to it's first incarnation it hurts. True the graphics got a major kickin the butt but other than that I'm feeling disappointed. I would elaborate more but I have a feeling that needs to be a Buzz Comix review. But don't get me wrong I still like the game a lot but I'm a hardcore Sega fanboy and the original rocked my world.
I went to a local punk band concert... two concerts actually last Friday. It was blast and then some. I met the guy that make the comics for the school paper which was neat. He was wearing a Strong Bad T-shirt which caught my eye so I went over and talked to him. Way cool guy. Too bad I'll probably NEVER see him again. meh. Oh yeah back to the band part of the concert. Well it rocked. I left with two CD's. One I'm in love with and the other a Nothing For Now CD makes me cry how dumb it is. so overall I give the whole experience a 8 out of 10. Now to leave you with a line from a song from the CD I do like.
I like how this comic shows the different forms Travis has taken over the years (months) Although the third frame is a Travis not of my own doing that was from a guest comic Mambo made. I also liked the over all randomness of it all. Good luck with your Child Sabotage comic man.
I had a HUGE News post all typed up and I lost it. I'm going to kill. OK time to die. hopefully I can get the news post in review fairly well.
To start off the comic it about Shinbi and how basically the difficulty in Shinbi is directly related to how stupid the enemy looks. Basicaly the Ninja dogs kicked my butt in all the wrong ways. That Ninja monkey is a cameo for Turbo Kiwi.
We have new Art in the art section. One from Sidious a Dave Sketch one form Layne a sort of Christmas in review. Basically my friend John got a Platinium Gamecube and lorded it over me like some lord that lords stuff over people. Then we have a wallpaper by Devon with a secret message on the Tank.
and that's what I talked about in the original post but it was well decent then but I'll be damned if I write that again. It was easily a small novel to begin with.
