k so I wanted to get a Snafu and Tin comic done yesterday so there wouldn't be a break in updates. But alas Murphy's Law is too powerful. So I woke up for my dentist appointment to find that I had two cavities. That sucks I don't have Dental insurance or anything so it just sucks but oh well I'll live. Then I went to get my car checked because I need to go to Calfornia today (in like an hour) to look at houses for rent so when my lease comes up here in Utah in October I'll have a place to live. It would be nice.
So when my car got checked up they found a problem. Remember how my car had troubles in Canada? Well it turns out it definitely is my transmission and to fix it will cost $3600 dollars. To make things super fantastic I looked up the worth of my car on Kelly Blue Book and the car is only worth $3500.
So I officially don't have a car... sort of. It's still "working" but it's dieing quick. If it gets me to California and back it'll do better than I expect. We'll see. I'm not taking it on this trip we'll use my roommates car but when I move... yeah fingers crossed.
So yeah I won't be back till Wednesday. I'll try and retro update Snafu then and make a Tin that night. We'll see though. It's going to be a tricky week for me. Truthfully I think I'll get a Moped.
Castle Crashers is fucking AWESOME. Great four player co-op fun at it's best. It's in an old school style of gaming much like the Ninja Turtle Games were back in the NES/SNES days. (or Golden Axe, or Final Fight, or Streets of Rage, etc...) It takes the tried and true gameplay of the past that was rock solid fun and added personality in buckets. Behemoth is a RAD videogame studio and Newgrounds which birthed them is a fantastic hub of internet creativity.
If you have an Xbos 360 I highly recommend downloading this game.
