So I made a Will today. Online it'll be sent to me in a bit for me to sign and all that jazz. Not that I think I'm dieing but after being this sick I realize how unexpected shit can be. I also realize how lame it is to make a Will when I own basicially nothing. But I figure this way I'll get it out of the way and I'll never have to worry about it again. Assuming the people I picked as heirs don't die before me. That would suck. I'd hate to have to take another ten minutes filling out questions on my phone in bed.
Oh by the way I'm feeling way better than yesterday. Which still puts me in the sick range but I'm at least getting better. That's a MAJOR plus. I fully expect to make a Snafu for Monday. It's been so so so long.
I can't believe it's possible to be this sick this long. Usually the flu is 24 hours. It's been days and I'm dizzy even standing up. My head is still pounding. and my bed is where I still reside 99% of the time. Sorry Snafu I'll try and get that pre-order up asap. But Damn it hurts to be alive right now.
Well I thought I would be feeling moderately better tonight to the point where I could actually update Shark Robot with the prints and things. But I may be getting worse. I literally haven't left bed for well over 30 hours straight now. My head is killing me my body is killing me. I go between hot and cold flashes almost constantly. I've very nauseous and managed to throw up water. Water.
So yeah sorry but I can't even move right now. Even typing this on my phone is killing me. I realize this will make the pre-order really really short and I apologize for that. But under the current circumstances it's all I can do.
Sorry for not getting the pre-orders of the shirts and prints up yesterday. I finally caught the dreaded convention Flu and I've been ridiculously sick all day yesterday. I literally didn't leave bed for over 20 hours straight. I'm feeling considerably better this morning. But I'm going to go back to bed now. I'll get the pre-order new store items up today sometime for sure. Just not right now. Now I'm busy throwing up and sleeping. It's a full time job.
K first off I'm not dead. I felt dead after Katsucon, Game Developers Conference and Wonder Con back to back for a week and a half. But I'm alive. Just in time to go to yet another convention. I'll be at Mega Con in Orlando Florida this weekend. Matt Herms from Sticky Floors and Stan from Titan Sphere will also be there. Which will make this the largest get together of Snafu artists in one spot so far. That's pretty rad. Now if we could just get Endling to one of these events things would be super rad.
Anyhow the image holder for the comic is actually one of our new prints we have for sell. That particular one is done by Bleedman (I do hope you recognized his art style.) And you can get it exclusively at Mega Con this weekend... exclusively until this Tuesday when we're going to have a huge pre-order going on Shark Robot for all the new prints, a new shirt design or two... hundred. and some other really cool new things. So expect a major pre-order to start the Tuesday I get back from Mega Con.
Unfortunately due to me being gone to Mega Con it'll be yet another week without a Snafu update. i do apologize for that and I really do feel bad about it. I wish I had more time to work on the comic but Snafu survives right now off of t-shirt sells at conventions and I need to focus all my attention on that so we can keep this place up and running with the servers and things. And my particular comic is a small part of the monster that is Snafu. But I do want to update and I have lots of ideas for comics. So I shall try and get as many updates as possible up. I've been thinking of getting a Cintiq Wacom Tablet in an effort to make comics a lot easier and quicker ot make. Don't really know if I should be using that type of money right now but I'm thinking about it. It would be cool.
Oh and you better all play Smash Brothers like CRAZY when it comes out. And then buy the Smash Bros print at Shark Robot this Tuesday. Oh and practice up because there is going to be a BIG tournament involving Snafu and... well you'll find out later. Don't let the Snafu team down ;)
Well I'm back from Katsucon, Game Developer's Conference, and Wonder Con. So I uploaded Bleedman's newest comic pages for Sugar Bits and Grim Tales... Both wicked awesome I highly recommend checking them out. I'll try and get some updates asap. I'll be sending out the Shark Robot orders today, and hopefully get a chance to write up a quick con report or three.
Well I finally updated the Convention schedule to this years line up. I've got all of the conventions on the list that Snafu's been confirmed for thus far. I'm sure I'll go to quite a few other ones as well but that's what for sure right now. Not too shabby of a start I'd say.
Sorry for the radio silence lately. I'm getting ready for a three convention in a row streak.
First off I'll be at Katsucon this weekend in Washington D.C. with Matt Herms from Sticky Floors and Kroze from YuGiOh Abridged. Defintiely stop buy and get some WAY cool stuff, shirts and prints that aren't in the online store... Yet.
Then directly afterwards I'll be at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco. I won't be selling anything there but my body.
Then directly afterwards I'll be at Wonder Con also in San Francisco where once again I'll be selling RAD new products some that aren't even on Shark Robot yet... and I'll also still be selling my body.
I've got to get back to work on making the booth fuckin SWEET.
