First day of the month so once again please vote like mad for me on TWC. I’ve been putting a lot of work into the site redesign and yeah. So please please please help me out it makes me feel better about myself in general.

Spider-Man comes out today buy it now or go play in traffic your choice. I’m just sayin.

A lot of site news today so I’ll start off by announcing a new Link. Ctrl+Alt+Del It’s a brand new comic that has hella good art, a Ninja, an Ogre and it’s funny. What more could you want? Well it doesn’t have any Pr0n but it’s not the author’s fault. Head over to the link section and check it out. You won’t be disappointed.

Site news number one, There is yet another character redesign. I promised myself after the first redesign to NEVER draw pants again. But I really wanted to show how nice Dave’s shoe’s matched his dress… But yeah this new style should get better as I use it more just like the others did. I have a funny feeling though that this style won’t last as long as the other two did. It’s basically reverting back to the original style except now I can use Photoshop a bit better.

Site news number two, New format for the comic. This redesign came about for a few reasons. One, I was sick and tired of scrolling down to see the bottom half of my comics. Two, I’ve run out of bandwidth the last two months straight and the smaller comics should help with that a bit. Three, I realized that having the Snafu logo and the title in each comic was basically making the comics bigger than they had to be. I guess I lost the neato Magna Temple font for the title but for a quicker loading page it’s worth it. Four with the new Title bar thing above it the comic seems more included in the website where as before it was kinda just reigning above it like some thing… that reigns… above other things. It’s already weird for me to try and jam a comic idea into three frames. But we’ll see how it goes.

Site news number three, soon I’ll be hosting a super great great great great great comic. Infact the comic I’m hosting is already up it’s just in the testing stages to get all the bugs out. Expect more Monday.

Site news number four, the store isn’t as far away as some of you might think. It’s farther.

Site news number five, Soon Snafu is going to throw its full support behind a new upcoming band website. I’m the webmaster for the project so I do hope you all support it as well. I promise you can get music there you can’t get anywhere else.

Site news number six, You all know how much I hate that paper clip “Clipit” from Microsoft right? Well Halo brought this game to my attention. Basically you get to kick the clips ass with rubber bands and a stappler and other handy office supplies. It will be linked to in my Other section for future clip ass kicking reference.

Site news number seven, Pay Pal donations are no more. Basically I decided I was being a complete butt hole even having the option to donate there. I would rather get a fan e-mail than a fan donation any day of the week so I thought why even bother? I’ve never asked for money once in my entire 6 months of comic making and I didn’t plan to start. I could pull what other sites do and say pay me and I’ll give you a wallpaper but that didn’t seem right to me either. Basically if I do something I want to share it and to share it with the most people it should be free. So yeah took it down.

Site news number eight, I’m a complete bastard. Basically I was miserable last week. Everything was bothering me site wise. I’ve learned that site statistics are put there only to fuck with me. My host decide to pull a week long lets break down randomly party. I was sick of making comics I was sick of the work I was sick of a lot of stuff. I became bitter and jealous of other comics on the TWC charts that were ranked higher than me. I even went so far as to bitch to two other people about my dislike of some of them. That’s when it hit me that I was a dick hole. The very idea of me saying something bad about someone else’s work struck me as not only a repulsive act but going against everything I’d like to be. I thought of pulling my comic from the TWC right then and there. If I wasn’t totally addicted to the hits TWC give me I would have. It’s not TWC fault or anything it’s a wonderful service I just started taking it the wrong way. I should be damn happy to be where I am. After my break though I more than feel excited to make comics again. This really is fun when you don’t let all the bull shit getcha down.

From here on out will be my life’s week in review so to speak. I’ve missed a lot and I consider Snafu to be a virtual journal of sorts so yeah if you don’t care time to stop reading.

Oh man have I enjoyed this week off. Thanks again to Halo and Vis for supplying me with those great guest comics. I don’t know if I’ll make having the guest comics replace my normal updating a habit or not but it felt so so so good. I watched a ton of movies. Tons, The Ring for one which honestly scared the crap out of me. I was terrified in my own house surrounded by friends more than a week later, it’s that scary. I watched Jackass The Movie, one of the funniest movies EVER. I laughed and laughed and almost puked then laughed and laughed. Then I watched Sorority Boys. Funny show and all but I expected a bit more. I still liked it and the line “Well, I’m addicted to porn and I masturbate constantly.” Will go down in my history books as “best movie quote ever”. Then I watched The Sum of All Fears. Good movie. Honestly after seeing that I’m so damn proud at how well President Bush handled the Terrorist attacks that I could burst. It takes a man better than myself to remain cool and not just push the giant red button out of reaction instead of calm cool thinking.

I skipped some school and drove 5 hours to be with my friends Thursday so I could go to some haunted houses with them. Honestly we never made it. We were there but we were waiting for my friend John to get out of his C.N.A. class. He was supposed to be done at 5. He wasn’t done till 9. So basically that was the scariest part of the whole trip was not knowing where John was. This is the most on time responsible person ever and having him late was terrifying. I mean he would call on normal circumstances but meh shit happens. So when we did get to the haunted houses it was 10:40 They all closed at 10:30. So basically I drove 5 hours to not see a haunted house then I had to drive another 5 hours back that night so I could go to school the next morning. Honestly it was one of the funnest trips of my life. I wouldn’t have traded anything about it for the world. Right when I was getting sleepy one of my friends called me on my cell to keep me company so I didn’t die while driving down the freeway. That was nice of him. What was cooler is they hit a deer on their way home.

I went to a haunted corn maze yesterday though. It sucked. It was basically a not haunted corn maze that wasn’t much of a maze since we were out in approximately two minutes. Worst seven dollars ever.

On Sunday I had a friend basically leave me for two years. He’s LDS and he went to serve his mission in Alaska/Canada. This is the first and probably only friend I’ll ever have that does this and honestly it was depressing. But best of luck to him. He will be missed. He still has my Pikmin game now that I think about it…

The comic won’t be updated Friday on account that I’ll be out of town getting my haunted house on. I’m excited. I’m actually missing school for it as well. Which isn’t a good idea since I’m mounds behind in my school work. But over all I do I really give a flying fuck? The answer is yes, yes I do. But I’m leaving anyways Halloween comes but once a year and I demand to get the crap scared out of me.

New links today WSWbabc a sprite comic, Stick Town a stick figure comic and The Other Web Site a MSN Paint comic ( I think.). WSWbabc is promising some Halloween special stuff soon so that might be neat. Stick Town is stick figure violence at it’s best. And The Other Web Site has already gone through a character redesign on comic number 7. It’s also has some videogame related comics which is a bonus in my eyes.
