Well if you didn't get last weeks comic you certainly won't get this one. Promise it'll be the last comic (for awhile) that centers around mutilating children (I can't back that up.)
Do you know that point in your life when you have so so so so much stuff that needs to be done but instead you play Dead Rising for 4 hours straight followed by some Bomberman Live and then watch the movie Stardust (good movie by the way)?
OK I've been pretty quiet lately because I've been working on server stuff for the past few days. During peak hours the Snafu server was "hanging" randomly and would take forever to load then "burst" download everything at once it was super weird. We tried a billion different things and couldn't figure out what the problem was since the sever itself wasn't even being touched on how much more power it had on cpu, ram etc.
But thanks to the GENIUS of Ryan we think we've discovered the problem and it was a stupid stupid limiting number set by default on Apache (the software that basically drives php webservers) And we upped that limit A LOT and the site is immediately running smoothly again.
K I can get back to working on the website design and TIN again. Thank goodness. Crisis OVER.
I really had so much fun making this comic. It just rocked making a comic again at all honestly. I'm glad that I'm done with conventions and can work on the comic regularly again. I LOVE doing it.
Anyhow this comic is based on Bioshock if you're not familiar with the game it's the raddest of rad games for Xbox 360 currently. It's LOTS of fun. But unfortunately it's a one time through type of game. Sure you can play through again and be evil/good but the difference is VERY minimal. Anyhow back to the comic I originally wanted to add some one liner jokes into the comic like the frame where Travis holds up the wrench I wanted him to say "who's your Big Daddy now, Bitch?" and then when he takes a picture "I'll need this for my... research... yes, research..." But I decided just making Travis silent and creepy worked better for the overall psychotic feel of the comic. That and the silent ending of the comic makes me happy.
But yeah if you have no idea what Bioshock is still here is a youtube video to help you get a better idea. Especially watch the ending.
Oh and since most of you probable missed my news post a few days ago but Applegeeks cameo'd me in their AppleGeeks Lite comic. I thought that was pretty rad.
I feel like I have a bunch of other announcements to make but I could just be tired. I should sleep. I'm still super excited about the rad new stuff that's coming to Snafu. It'll slowly trickle into the site over this next month. The site redesign should be awesome. And the new... things I think will just be super super awesome. and that's a lot of awesome.
