I really had so much fun making this comic. It just rocked making a comic again at all honestly. I'm glad that I'm done with conventions and can work on the comic regularly again. I LOVE doing it.
Anyhow this comic is based on Bioshock if you're not familiar with the game it's the raddest of rad games for Xbox 360 currently. It's LOTS of fun. But unfortunately it's a one time through type of game. Sure you can play through again and be evil/good but the difference is VERY minimal. Anyhow back to the comic I originally wanted to add some one liner jokes into the comic like the frame where Travis holds up the wrench I wanted him to say "who's your Big Daddy now, Bitch?" and then when he takes a picture "I'll need this for my... research... yes, research..." But I decided just making Travis silent and creepy worked better for the overall psychotic feel of the comic. That and the silent ending of the comic makes me happy.
But yeah if you have no idea what Bioshock is still here is a youtube video to help you get a better idea. Especially watch the ending.
Oh and since most of you probable missed my news post a few days ago but Applegeeks cameo'd me in their AppleGeeks Lite comic. I thought that was pretty rad.
I feel like I have a bunch of other announcements to make but I could just be tired. I should sleep. I'm still super excited about the rad new stuff that's coming to Snafu. It'll slowly trickle into the site over this next month. The site redesign should be awesome. And the new... things I think will just be super super awesome. and that's a lot of awesome.
I know that this particular comic hasn't been updated for like two weeks and the chances of someone reading a news post way at the bottom like this two days before a new comic comes out is slim. But incase you are one of the rare few who happens to scroll down on these two days I got a cameo in the latest AppleGeek's Lite comic. Totally a real conversation and I'm stoked to have been the catalyst of such awesome. Clumsy clumsy hippos.
I'm back from conventions FINALLY. Give me one day to straighten up life and unpack/decompress and then Snafu is going to get the overhaul of it's life. We're adding Three new comics. We're going to start updating WAY more consistently and often. I'm going to redesign the site. We're adding new features. It's all going to just be AWESOME. WOOT!
Hey just wanted to apologize for no Tin/Snafu this week. I'm still gone in Portland for the last real convention of the season for me. So if you're in the Portland Vancouver area this weekend come out and say hi. Come quickly though because we don't have much stuff left. Vancouver Canada wiped me out of merch pretty hardcore style. But even so stop by and say hi. It'd be cool.
Also during the same weekend my friends are going to Anime Banzai in Salt Lake City and they'll have Snafu stuff there if you're interested. I really appreciate them covering for me like that and it's super rad all around really.
After this I'll be back home and no more cons for quite awhile.
Hello hello. K I'm still in Canada but I'll be heading to Seattle soon for PAX. I'll try and update the comic while I'm traveling. I brought my computer but it's hard to tell when I'll have a chance to set it up and where I can find internet (On someone else's computer at the momment for a quick quick session on the interwebs.)
Anyhow Thanks to everyone in the Vancouver area who came out to Anime Evolution and bought our stuff. Seriously it was way awesome and a bit unexpected how much you guys bought. Seriously we're going to have a VERY limited supply of merchandise for Portland's Kumoricon in a week because of it.
Which is rad.
But yeah everyone in the Portland Area come to Kumoricon and check out the booth. Come early of we really won't have anything left.
Anyhow I'll be going to PAX next weekend in Seattle with Scott Rizzy Ramsoomair and Shawn Handyside which is guaranteed awesome. I'm looking forward to it.
Oh and I just now realized that Metroid Prime 3 comes out in a week while I'll be gone in Seattle/Portland. That stings. That stings a lot.
