Well literally minutes after I posted the last news post I got the word that John was dead. Which I then had my first of probably 3-4 break downs. I've spent the time between then and now crying on my bathroom floor. Seemed like the thing to do at the time. For now I'm going to go buy the lamest most time consuming game I can find, lock myself in my house and stop thinking for a couple days. And maybe that way I can cut the break downs from 3-4 to just one more time at the funeral. And sorry for not answering my phone right now friends, I really just can't handle it at the momment. and now I'm crying again. I hate how lame this is. I'm blogging. This is how I mourn is I blog. Fuck I hate myself sometimes.
So my best and longest known friend John Skeem just got in a motorcycle accident. It literally just happened and I just got off the phone with basically everyone I know telling them what little information I have. It sounds pretty bad though. I have high hopes it's be just fine but I still feel sick. I don't really want e-mails on this one though seriously. This is just because I know a lot of people from my home town read this site and it seemed like a better way to spread the word than my ultra limited list of phone numbers on my cell. Ironically I'm really glad I can't go to Emerald City Comicon now. Weird how much can change in like ten minutes.
Well I shall NOT be attending Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. I wasn't sure if I would be ready for it this entire time and I've been rushing trying to get shirts and prints and things made. I was cutting it close but I "may" have been able to pull it off. But it seems that I can't get a booth there anymore anyways since it's now full. I'm a bit relieved and bummed at the same time. Oh well just means I'll be super prepared for Sakura-con. Yay! Can't wait for that one. I hear nothing but good things. So yeah sorry for the people who were hoping I would attend Emerald City Comicon. Just couldn't make it this year. Next year for sure.
Almost all moved in. I've got all my stuff moved to the new place and out of the old. But I've still got to organize unpack still. Plus buy food toiletries and that sort of thing. Close though. I've already had more fun in one day than I've had in nearly two month. Kinda crazy. But yeah things are going super sweet.
This was posted in the forums the other day but I thought I should share the greatest link of ALL TIME
Basically you can watch a bunch of old cartoons free on the interweb at that site. My personal fav being Batman Beyond. It still kinda hurts that that show got canceled. It was SO good. By the way the 3rd season DVD just came out if your interested in getting it through more... legitimate ways.
For me anyways. I've FINALLY found a place to live. I'm moving to American Fork about 30 minutes south of where I currently live in Salt Lake City Utah. This is such a HUGE stress relief you have no idea. I've gotten barely anything done this whole time but now that that's taken care of I'm sure my productivity will sky rocket. Well... after I actually move. Which should be this Tuesday. I'm so excited you have NO idea. It's a bit more expensive than I'm used to rent wise but the place is also a billion times better than what I'm used to as well. SO excited. Once I'm all moved in I'll have to FINALLY update the link section (sorry everyone who's waiting) Oh and I can get to work on making more shirts so Shark Robot can finally be re-stocked. We've been out of basically every normal size of ever shirt for a month or so now. That'll be way sweet to get back on top of that. But I won't lie it was nice being out of shirts while I was looking for a new place to live. Made things easier. I'll even add the three new shirt designs once I get back from Sakura Con. which by the way I'm going to Sakura Con... I need to update the convention schedule thing. I "may" go to Emerald City Comic-con as well. Depends how fast I can make shirts honestly. If I can get the shirts made I'll buy a booth and head up to seattle for a double con event. If not. I'll just go to Sakura Con. Which is fine. But we'll see. I'm hoping for two cons.
Oh and obviously this comic is about TMNT. I'm a little pumped for the movie. I plan to make cardboard turtle shells so I can publically embarass myself when I go to the theater. WOO.
