Well I'm back and I'm going to start updating at the normal schedule again. I hope everyone has a super awesome sauce christmas. I know I did. Rayman + Trauma Center + Monkey Ball = boner.
Sorry I havn't updated today Christmas and all. But yeah I'll update as soon as possible so you don't have to be terrified by our nerdy faces for much longer.
I would like to draw everyone's attention to the recent updates of Bleedman and Endling.
Bleedman is updating not one but TWO pages this week. One today Saturday and one on his normal update Schedule of Sunday. So make sure not to miss the Saturday update of Grim Tales.
Then Endling is now on page two of the Ever After Intermission and it's already starting to get awesome sauce. Expect lots of cross over greatness to come.
WORST MOVIE EVER. I'm pretty sure it lowered my sperm count.
Seriously I can't believe how terrible it was. Everyone in the theater afterwards gave out boo's and moans of agony. You could hear people say throughout the audience how many times they fell asleep. The guy next to me fell asleep several times. It was WAY long never had a point was boring as all fuck. Zero actual events happened. SO SLOW moving. I'm pissed honestly. So so pissed
But on the upside I got to pick up a black hitch hicker on the way home. Which means I've met one of the two black people allowed in Utah. That's pretty cool.
Wow that looks awesome. Although I do have to complain about the line "have your crew step out or we will kill you." That doesn't sound like anything a military or police force would say EVER. "Have your crew step out or we will open fire." sounds much better to my ears. Either way WOW this looks like a cool movie.
Well I just sent off all the e-mail informing the winners of what they've won so if you haven't gotten an e-mail by now it means you didn't get drawn for a prize. Hmm that sounded like a negative way to put it. But anyhoo yeah the prize notifications have been sent. Last step ship the prizes and then the Charity drive is completely done with on my end.
Oh and anyone ordering something from Shark Robot from this day on no promises you'll get it before Christmas. I'd say it's too late at this point. So yeah thought I would let you know the deadline before the holidays is more or less past.
K the charity drive on Snafu is now over. I'll get everything ready and draw out the winners of the prizes tonight. Thanks again everyone who participated! I really appreciate it! I can't wait for next year. I'll make it WAY better, More prizes, more awesomeness more everything. YAY!
Well I made it back from my Portland/Seattle/Vancouver Trip and I'm going to start working on shipping out Shark Robot Store orders right now. I'll also upload a picture of Gabe Tycho and Myself at the Child's Play Auction. The Check in the picture was for a $1,000 which was around how much the drive had gathered on the 11th. Now that I'm home I'll get a tally of how much total the drive has total now. And on the 20th when everything closes down I'll wire the rest of the money over to Child's Play and also do the raffle to see who won the prizes. I really just have to say Thanks once again. Seriously everyone you're amazing.
As a quick update Child's Play charity auction dinner in Seattle went incredibly well. I got to give Gabe and Tycho a $1,000 check from all of your generous donations on the site thus far. They were very happy and they both wanted to thank you for donating to the cause. Tycho reminded me twice infact "Make sure you thank your readers". So yes of course thank you so much guys! I have a picture of me giving the check to Tycho and Gabe that I'll upload to the site as soon as I get home but I'm in Canada at the momment and probably will be till Sunday. I also have a suspicion that the picture will turn out blurry. I hope not but we'll see Sunday. Also just because I've paid Gabe and Tycho a grand already doesn't mean the charity drive on the site is over. We'll still be accepting donations till the 20th. And I have high hopes the total will be well over $2,000 by the end which to me is just incredible that we've managed to get so much off of donations and things in such a short amount of time. Seriously everyone you're the BEST ever.
Hey everyone I just had to say that I really appreciate the support you've show towards the charity. I'm going to be attending the Child's Play Charity Dinner Auction up in Seattle on the 13th... which means I'm leaving today to make it up there. I probably won't be back until Sunday at the earliest. I've got a Tin already finished so that will update on time. Shark Robot orders have all been shipped out caught up through the 11th. Everything bought from the 12th on this week will be shipped out on the 18th of December. Then on the 20th the charity drive closes down on our end and it's time for the drawing to see who get's the Omni Chair and other various prizes.
K so for the first time in years I went back through some of the Snafu Archive... I actually laughed at a few of my old jokes that I completely forgot. But holy crap so many of them were so bad. Oh I hate to admit it but I want to delete crappy ones again. I won't but oh man do I WANT to.
But for more important matters my friend J Grant of Two Lumps fame has recently finished his second book On the Banks of Lethe This guy is witty beyond belief and I'm quite positive everything he does will be utter brilliance rather he wants to or not. His book is the horror Genre and I can think of no better time of year to get creeped out than Christmas. Here is a site based around the novel with a teaser of sorts.
