I know today's comic is a total injustice to humanity but I didn't have time to do it better due to several reasons. The main one is me preparing for two conventions right in a row Sac Anime and Comic-Con. Even though I won't have a table at comic-con I'll just be attending. But I'm still working on the online store and that ate up a good chunk of today. Then I also switched to Mac as of last Friday and I'm still transfering stuff over. Files, programs, hardware all have to be setup still and I didn't have my wacom working, or scanner, or any of my fonts or much of anything while making this comic so yeah you got a short quickie. So do forgive me. And if I don't get the store shipping working right today I'll just charge a flat rate on shipping and release the damned thing. It's taken FAR too much of my time at this point.
Yeah I saw SuperMan. I saw it opening night. It was a way good movie and I enjoyed it. I hate Superman as a character and I hated a few superman bullcrap things in the movie but overall it was a fun watch, great visuals, fun story, and Lex Luther = the win.
Other movies I've watched lately, I watched Walk the Line the Johnny Cash story. It was pretty cool and honestly I almost cried like 10 minutes into the thing when his brother died. I'm such a wussy.
Then I watched Click. Which was pretty lame. It's the type of movie that makes you want to go home and tell your parents (and spouse if you have one) you love them. And then immediately 10 minutes later you realise your parents (and probably spouse) drive you bat shit insane. Oh well thus is life I suspose.
I really need to see Cars. Probably tomorrow. It's been too long and I'm disappointed I didn't opening night that movie.
Well Two days ago I got my world rocked hardcore style in Tennis. I played a girl named Brooke for the first time. I did not expect her to be as amazing as she was. I lost, I lost BAD. It's the first time I'm lost to anyone in Salt Lake City since I moved here three years ago and it's the first time I've lost to a girl EVER. So needless to say I'm freaking excited about the whole deal and I want to player with her everyday forever. She has no choice in the mater.
Today I went back to my home town of Delta UT and played in the annual 4th of July tournament. I know I realise it's not the 4th of July but it's the holidy the tourny is for. Anyhow it was a double tournament and my partner and I took first. Of course. Nah, it wasn't that easy there is one team that is really really good and they by all means could very easily have beaten us. But they didn't so ha ha, gold medal is ours. Now I just have to drive all the way back to SLC tomorrow. Ugh.
Ok, so I just got bit by a spider... and it hurt. A lot. So being a good interent nerd I looked it up and found out it's poisonous (the non-leathal variety) and my skin could fall off resulting in a sore that will take 8 weeks to heal. This being the worst case scenerio of course. I'm quite sure that isn't going to happen but I'm going to freak the fuck out anyways. Because it's my middle finger that got bit. I NEED my middle finger for middle finger activities. I can't have it in anything but it's prime condition. I drive on the freeway all the time and if it's not in top form people are going to think less of me. I have a reputation to uphold.
Anyhow I'm still working on the store I'll probably work on it all night. It's still coming along nicely but there are silly things I didn't expect that take a few days each to confirm online payments and things. SILLY I say. Anyhoo until then that Art Forum contest I mentioned awhile ago. has already gotten neat-o results. Even a YouTube entry for the Snafu Ultimate Showdown. Gentlement BEHOLD!
