Aparently today NEVER HAPPENED.

Sunday the 4th,

OK today I remember. I went to Cheryl's birthday party. Which consisted of tons of people I don't know crammed in a house I've never been to and me eating more than my fair share of the snacks. And of course Guitar Hero was there because what party could possibly be complete without it? Kevin is freaking amazing at it and we had an expert dual. Sadly this was when he was ultra sleep deprived and had to leave soon so I won by default rather than any actual skill of my own. and I'm totally ok with winning by default mind you.

But what was a downer is apparently the girl who owned the house we were at got her make up collection stolen. Which sucks bad I hate fucks who would do that. I mean seriously she was nice enough to let us all come and be at her place to celebrate Cheryl's birthday and someone has to steal shit from her. Absolutely ridiculous. BUT it did leand itself nicely to make up theif jokes after the party so for my own selfish reasons I'm secretly glad it happened. Does that make me a bad person? YES.

Monday the 5th,

I bought a new server for the site (again) this time from a different company so hopefully Snafu can move over to the new hosting sometime this week. I'll give more warning and not in a journal entry when it's making the switch so you'll all know. I'm sure most of you have noticed the MASSIVE slow down to the site in the middle of the day. The current servers just can't handle it. So hopefully this will fix all of that. Or maybe it'll ruin my life and I'll cry. We'll find out soon enough either way.

Then after that I worked on various clients thingie majiggers. Ranging from website stuff to logos to... more website stuff. So far being unemployed hasn't really cut my funds at all but I don't know how long I'll have this type of freelance work to fall back on. Hopefully forever because having a boss is NOT a pleasant experience no matter how cool said boss is.

The downside to having all of this freelance work is I really really want to work on my own stuff more. Hell knows Snafu needs a new improved Fan Gallery soon. But I'll be damned if I can find the time to figure out what I'm doing wrong with the new gallery software. Hopefully soon. I know I've been promising it for weeks but it really really is close. It works fine except for one little tiny issue and that's just me being stupid really I'm sure.

Tuesday the 6th,

Well today is my birthday. And it snowed. so I kinda just didn't do anything birthdayish. What was cool though is my nephew sent me a Naruto T-shirt that absolutely rocks because he's the coolest Jaxon on the planet.

Cherny took me to a pancake house that was awesome as well. I do so love me some pancakes.

Other than that though I just worked on the comic and drove my roomate Boner around to the various parking offices to try and get his car unimpounded.

Oh and I didn't bathe today. This foul odor is my own little birthday present to myself.

Oh and about Nipple Lasers that dates back to when I was in Middle School and my friends and I would pretend to shoot nipple lasers at each other in class complete with self made sound effects and powered up uni-nipple action. I wish I could say I was kidding... Then later it re-appeared as my online World of WarCraft name although slightly altered spelling of Neeple Lazors.

Oh and I wanted to draw a picture of the x-mansion blowing up with lasers instead of that last frame but I couldn't find a good reference for of what it looked like for the life of me.

I'm thinking I may just switch back to Monday updates though. This Tuesday thing still doesn't seem to feel quite right to me. I thought it would work out better but I miss my Mondays I do.

Now time for journal entries I'd say.

Oh and since it's now officially the holiday season of December I thought I should mention the Childs Play charity Penny-Arcade does each year. But of course everyone has already heard of it. If not couldn't hurt to give a lil.

Ok today was pretty good. I hung out with Adam for a bit randomly here and there which doesn't seem to happen all that much. I bought a crap load of candy and I laughed my face off at least 3 times today. On top of that I got a lot of work done on Brad's site "but" I can't seem to log on to his server anymore for some reason so I can't update the new version of his site. Oh well his problem really. Then I watched two new SUPER awesome anime series 6 episodes each, Blood+ and Black Cat. All thanks to Kami from the forums for the tip. The shows are amazing. I'll have more info on those in the future I'm sure of it. I love them so.

Don't remember because all memories deal directly with Wednesday and anger. unimaginable anger.

Wednesday 30th Ok, so I was getting a new server added to Snafu to help with the bandwidth and stuff that extra servers do. Anyhoo I paid $500 bucks for next months hosting and setup fees for the new server and other hosting bullshit. Doesn't matter unimportant. What matters is I paid all this money and then as soon as they added the new server the site crashed. So of course I called up to figure out what went wrong. Fast forward 3-4 hours later and about 8 tech support people and finally after realising the fucks had ZERO idea how to set the new server up right I told them to cancel the whole thing and put it back to how it was before. So yeah we haven't gotten the upgraded hosting yet which SUCKS. But what doesn't suck is the site is at least up instead of the bullshit of before. Soooooo I'm looking for a new host as we speak because Snafu needs more than it's current setup pretty soon and yeah clearly the assholes that I had to deal with today can't handle this site.

I'm down playing the experience big time though. Seriously not one but two of the tech support people tried to get mad at me saying my site won't work because sooo many people were access the site all at once. They seriously asked "did you know you have thousands of people accessing your site. Thats why the new server isn't working." Which of course my reply was "yes I know, thats why I'm getting ANOTHER SERVER." I was soooo pissed off. I haven't been thing angy at a hosting company since my last hosting company held the domain name snafu-comics.com hostage for MONTHS. Oh man that was HELL. Seriously if anyone is planning on getting a website anytime soon. DON'T get your domain name and web hosting from the same place. Keep those as seperate as possible so when you eventually switch hosts (and you WILL switch hosts.) they can't be gay and stop you.

Got Laid off. Bought Mario Kart DS. Played with Scott.

Tuesday 22nd

Played Mario Kart DS... All day. It was bad. Totally addicted.

Wednesday 23rd

Worked on Brad's website all day long. It's not "completely" done so I probably shouldn't prematurely link to it like this but oh well. It's close to getting done just needs the mailing list added and a few minor things here and there.

Thursday 24th

Went home for Thanksgiving. Hung out with John, Brent, Brady, and Holly at night. Watched Harry Potter 4 with them for the 2nd time and played Guitar Hero after that.

Friday 25th

Didn't do much of anything today but realise that my neices and nephews manage to ruin something video game related of mine every time I come home. This time they erased my super sweet Mario Kart DS icon. Those monsters.

Saturday 26th

Slow day again of just kicking around the house. end.

Sunday 27th

Went home today it was snowing so I stopped half way at Laynes house and we went and watched Chicken Little. I loved it WAY good movie.

Monday 28th

Worked on Brad's website a bit more. and that's basically all for today.
