Have I mentioned how much I love Squirrel Works lately? If I haven't I really should have. It's a fantastic site with fantastic comics. The Art is crazy good and the newly added Battlegate comic is interesting to me on 20 different levels.
Well I finally put a proper comic up. It felt GOOOOoooooood to work on the comic again seriously. About Batman Begins I liked the movie overall but there were a few parts that irked me. Most are mentioned already in the comic in one way or another but the big one was the microwave beam thing that didn't affect the people standing right next to it... yeah... But still a fun movie to watch and by FAR the best Batman movie ever. Of course that doesn't say much.
Now I got to go to bed for work tomorrow morning. *yay*
I've been sooo busy and stressed lately but today was the last straw. I forgot that Naruto came out yesterday. I FORGOT NARUTO. Nevermind that that show is by far my reason for living but the fact that I reached a point in my life where my favorite thing on the planet can be totally over looked is just sickening. So I've promised myself to dedicate the weekend to making a comic that has time and effort put into it and not some complete SHIT like the one above that makes ZERO sense and was drawn with a mouse and in a near delerious state after an over 10 hour drive back from California. I wish I could say a drought of Snafu will never happen again but I'm noticing a pattern over the past 3 years of doing Snafu that every summer I have a "dry" season of updating. My one worry is that I graduated which means I'm not going to have a school year again which makes me wonder if the dry season will be longer lasting. Perhaps not since my friends will be going back to school and that could make a large difference. But we'll see. Either way I'm getting absolutely embarassed at the current state of my comic and I must change it soon.
Yeah I just got back from my trip to L.A. around an hour ago. I know this comic sucks balls but I promised myself to throw something new up before I passed out from exhaustion again so I quickly mouse drew this thing and yeah. I know I missed the last two weeks of updates and sorry busy busy busy. But after going to L.A. for the Deviant Art summit I have some new ideas and motivation in general and yeah I want to try some stuff out but now I sleep. It was a forever long drive and I'm tired. So yeah even though this comic sucks I'm just happy I stayed up long enough to finally finish a comic.
Well I'm going to the Deviant Art Summit in CA this weekend. I should probably announce these things a bit earlier than this but I suck. And I will update soon.
Well the forums just got a new Art Forum section. And the best part is the Art forum mods started a Draw Dave contest. I'm excited! So yeah if your an artist of any form literature, comic, music, anything come and join the community we'd love to have your contributions!
My lack of time currently is starting to sting my face. I like my new job. But I want to do more "side" projects for myself. I want to work on Tin more. I want to add upgrades to the site. I want to make another Flash cartoon. I want to draw wallpapers until I can draw no more. And I want to play video games until my eyes bleed. I want to finish up my commissions and other promised projects. Right now all of that is getting neglected and I HATE that. I need to figure out something to change my situation. Hopefully soon.
