Snafu Avatar Pointing Fingers

First off I in no way think the Tsunami is a joke. I'd have to say J.J. said it best though. It's hard to try and be funny when all you can think about is this depressing depressing event. Sure I could bitch about EA some more, maybe make a quick joke about how I lost my memory card for my Gamecube, or perhaps a joke about a movie, but they just seem so unimportant and insignificant in my mind right now by the massive overshadowing of the Tsunami. But in the mean time, Japan Rocks.

Oh and I must mention this comic was heavily inspired by my chat with Garry. He was the one who said "you know somebody somewhere is saying this is god's way of punishing them". Then later long after the conversation was over I was considering what kind of horrible person it would take to even think that. Then I realised WE were thinking that, even if we were only thinking someone else was thinking that. Man that's confusing. But yeah Garry was half of this conversation and the other half didn't actually take place.

On a lighter note my New Years was absolutely fantastic, full of fun times had by all. This year like last we played Mario Kart at my house. But we also added Donkey Konga, and Karaoke Revolution 3 to the mix. On the non-videogame side of things we also played Wizard (my favorite card game.) and Texas Hold Them. Then for the 12:00 festivities we opted to watch Conan instead of those wussy ball dropping cerimonies, I felt it was the right choice.

Other Holiday news, I got a Nintendo DS for Christmas and I couldn't be happier. I also got a few Gamecube games I'd love to play but my baby nephew decided to run off with my memory card so it's pointless to even play games I can't save. I've had an absolute blast this entire break hanging out with my old high school friends and I've been pretty busy being not busy. I still need to make a site for one of Bleedman's mini series of comics still, but I haven't had the willpower/desire to break away from the fun just yet. Hopefully I can get started on it tomorrow but no real promises.

On the Movie side of things I've watched Lemony Schnicket's Series of Unfortunate Events twice. It even prompted me to read the first three books. I have to say the movie is FAR suprerior to the books but the books are incredibly stylized and it's sheer originality makes it worth a read through. But either way watch the movie it's fantastic. The other movie I watched was Pay it Forward. I'll be honest, I cried.

Snafu Avatar Christmas

I don't know if it's the same everywhere but where I live you won't see homeless people ever until Christmas. It's redunkulous what a huge change it is. I figure homeless people must just migrate to my city in the winter or something which would make zero sense since it's freaking cold. But yeah even though I know it's a total total scam I usually can't turn them all down. I'm weak.

Christmas rocked my socks off this year. I got a Nintendo DS and needless to say I've touched it. I've touched it a lot, and it felt Goooooooood. Mario DS has absorbed ALL of my time. I even snagged a few Gamecube games and the like but I can't get away from the power of the DS long enough to play them. I can't decide if that's a good thing or bad. And speaking of Mario I just drew a Mario wallpaper

Oh and I don't think I've mentioned this yet but Paper Mario is THE AWESOME.
