To fully understand the cameo you have to see my "artistic picture" over at VG Cats. I didn't actually think Scott was going to post it. Best Scott ever.
The art department really was offering a nude modeling job. I originally planned this comic to be a 6 frame long comic with various lil jokes here and there but I ran out of time. But I actually like the one quick joke a LOT better than the 6 frame long joke. So it works for me.
X-men Legends is freaking awesome. We beat it today and I already can't wait for the next one in the series... at least I hope it will be a series.
I watched Shaun of the Dead and The Forgotten the past two days. I loved both movies. The Forgotten had some really interesting original special effects that really made it shine. Shaun of the Dead was extremely and gave me my new favorite word in the world "Fuck-a-doodle-do." Best word EVER.
Well I figured out that if you play X-men Legends for a little over an eternity by yourself it gets incredibly fun to play with other people. My orignal problem with this game is that right off the bat you COULDN'T play 4 player co-op it just wouldn't let you. So three of us sat there and waited. So the one person playing rushed through the level so we could play. Immediately on the second level we all got pwned hardcore like nobodies business. It was ridiculous we waited so long to play just to get our asses handed to us.
But I re-started the game giving it another chance. This time I played ALONE. I destroied everything instead of running by it. I killed everything and I read every game tutorial. By the time I beat the first level I had... ARMOR. something we were sadly without the first time through. Plus I had a lot more money which sadly is always in rare supply in my opinion. After I beat the first level I actually took the time to explore the mansion. And there are lots of ways to gain experience be it an X-men Trivia Game or a Danger Room: learn how to walk, session. By the time I completely explored the Mansion and started Level two we were all around level 5-7 in player stats as opposed to our 1-3 level before. BIG difference. Suddenly the game was fun. Mind blowingly fun. and it hasn't stopped all day. So yeah my advice is to get X-men and play by yourself for a couple hours THEN invite your friends over. If your looking for a fun multiplayer experience right out of the box you should have bought Smash Brothers or Monkey Ball or soemthing, cuz X-men isn't your game.
I just got done reading through both of these collections of awesome comics. I mostly like Squee but Johnny got interesting at the end. Through out the first half I was like "ho hum, he killed another person big whoop." then it came around full circle and actually became worthwhile. But I have a question. Why is Johnny's Symbol "Z?" I don't get it. what does Z? mean? It's really been bothering me. So yeah a lil e-mail send my way with an explanation would rock.
Yeah this comic is based heavily in real life. It seems I have grey hairs on the back of my head which was of course a one way ticket on the "freak the fuck out" train. But it could always be worse.
I bought X-men Legends and so far I'm extremely disappointed with it. I bought it for it's 4 player co-op abilities. So we rounded up our posee and began playing. Well immediately on the first level it only allows one player. It was retarded. Even more retarded is the person playing DIED half way through the dreaded one player only level and had to start over. It was awful. I don't doubt the game will be fun once we get into it more but it was such a disappointment holding a controler and not playing I just don't even know how to react to it with something other than hatred.
