When I started making this comic I had a completely different vision for it. That vision just happened to suck so I went with this comic instead. I’m thinking this will be the last volleyball comic for awhile. The title came from inspiration direct from Kung Pow when Wimp Lo said the infamous “my balls to your fist technique.” Beautiful.
Speaking of Kung Pow I watched it again last night. Three of my friends came by for a random unexpected visit. I was quite shocked. Any how they hadn’t seen Kung Pow so we had to watch it. It was just as good the second time. That was a lie.
I watched Green Mile for the first time yesterday. It was a long movie. It was way interesting and held my attention from first to finish. But honestly this is the first movie I’ve actually wanted the characters to not have powers. When John started coughing up that stuff I couldn’t have possible said fubar any louder unless I actually did say fubar louder. Good movie.
Best news ever. This Comic Sucks isn’t dead anymore. It’s so not dead it like undeadish but not in the zombie way. Anyhow go give them some welcome back to the living hits.
I’m getting criminally behind with responding to the forums. I can’t keep up with the 100 posts a day as well as I could in the 1.2 posts a day days. I’m going to try and get better about it after today since I do have two tests. Most importantly though I have Mario Sunshine.
Well Mambo I’d have to say this is the best comic you’ve done to date. Well at least in my none humble very biased opinion. It’s safe to say that I’m more than a little curious of this fabled “Second” guest comic you speak of.
Travis doesn’t like the feel of spilled hair gel. What were you people thinking?
Guest comic tomorrow so come back Tuesday.
Pretty good weekend, my cousin got married. As a strange side product of the marriage my entire family gathered in one place. Well I saw my sister holding what by all means appeared to be a baby. I wondered who’s kid it was for the longest time, and then I finally realized it was her kid. I forgot that I had a new nephew. Well by new it’s been like a month or so but it was the first time I laid eyes on the little guy so I forgot about the whole event. I even forgot his name, so latter when no one else was around I asked one of my other nephews what it was. Perfect crime. Oh and by the way the only reason I’m saying “his” name instead of just his actual name is I’ve already forgotten it again…
The wedding went nice enough. They both said “I do” and that was that. But on a side note I absolutely hate walking through the line. I had nothing to say to the “other” side of the line I only knew my own side. So that was awkward. No biggie though it’s not like I’ll see any of them ever again.
My roommate from last year came down to visit over the weekend. Great fun. Oh and he sucks at Ping Pong.
I watched another slew of movies over the weekend. Better Off Dead. It had the great 80’s humor that we all love but don’t want to admit to. Kinda like riding a moped, you have a lot of fun ridding it but you’d rather not be caught dead on one. Now replace the word moped with “your mom.” Next I watched Monster’s Inc. Wasn’t as good the second time but that’s to be expected. But on the extra footage and stuff they had a tour of Pixar. I love what Pixar does as a movie maker but the world would probably be a better place if the employees weren’t aloud to socialize amongst the normal public. The last movie was Kung Pow. It may have just been the fact that it was 3 in the morning but I laughed my ass off. I do hope they make a sequel or two.
