Coolest thing ever, Rulon Gardner came and spoke at my college last Thursday. Rulon is the American super star that beat the Russian in the Olympics in Greco Wrestling. His speech is easily in my top three best speeches ever list. I bought a T-shirt and than had him sign it. It's currently hanging up on my wall never to be worn by the likes of me.

When I first walked into my apartment the entire kitchen was jam packed with protein drinks and weight gainer. My first reaction was "Oh great my roommate is a football player." Then I thought it isn't right to prejudge someone before I've even seen him. Well he's a football player. But he's hella cool and already my slave.

When I was buying my schoolbooks I noticed the most bizarre thing ever. They were selling video games in the college bookstore. It's good to see a college bookstore finally sell what people will actually use in college. Unfortunately the games were the most horrid things ever (sports games) but still the thought is cool.

Not that this needs to be said but I'm going to anyway. Hooray for Weezer.

I watched Mothman Prophecies. To be honest I nearly pissed myself at least 6 to 9 times while watching the movie. It got to me. It got to me bad. It's such a good movie. I kid you not I pulled one of these with my roommate. Mothman Prophecies reminded me of "A Beautiful Mind" except scary. It's a good thing I didn't wet myself because I only brought one pair of shorts to college with me. I know how could I forget to pack my pants? Well it happened. Not to be out done but I even left my shoes. The shoes I was wearing are those slipper type things without laces. Needless to say I feel like a total tard wearing them around school. I'm just glad I only had three days of school last week. I made a quick run home and got my oh so needed clothing.

I've been playing a lot of Warcraft 3 lately. I got the sound problem fixed. It turns out it wasn't my sound card at all but my speakers. I just plugged in the headphones and it works fine. Which is good because hearing them talk makes the game twenty times better. Warcraft 3 is definitely an improvement over Warcraft 2 with the in depth story and better character development. The leveling up is a great idea and the items are great. But honestly I would have rather had Warcraft 3 be a 2D game. The 3D doesn't add anything really except maybe frustration. Old School is the way to do it.

Chrono Cross is starting to get ridiculous. By ridiculous I mean stupid. It's one thing to have a few extra characters to have a choice for your team. But I seriously get new characters faster than I can use them. You get on average three new guys at a time. Any one in the whole game that they bother to give a name will eventually join your team at one point or another. It's just lame. Chrono Trigger had more than enough playable characters but this is overkill.

By the way does anyone out there no much about web cams? Mostly just which cam is a good one to buy? I need some suggestions. Not that I'll waste valuable bandwidth on the site with it, I just want to play around with one sometime. I probably won't ever get one. I don't even have a mouse pad.

New Link today, Smileville. It's a comic where the cast consists entirely of Smiley faces. Honestly I wonder why someone didn't think of this sooner.

Who are you to judge me?

In yesterday's tiredness I completely spaced off my entire life. I watched Signs for one. It was a great movie. I didn't find it as scary as some people lead me to believe it to be. I found it much more funny and thought provoking. The best kind of movie in my opinion.

Have you guys been seeing the cool crap they've done with Metroid lately? IGN has been showing off the two versions of Samus' suit, the Standard and the Varia suit plus the Spiderball. Awesome. Also it seems that now Metroid Prime for Cube and Metroid Fusion for Game Boy Advance are going to connect. I have no idea what it will be like but it is quote "going to be really cool."

I was burning a CD for my trip back to college and I got it done so I erased all of the songs I had on it. Well I then erased Kazaa completely since I don't think I'll be back forever. Well it turns out the CD failed miserably and I have a grand total of four songs on the damn thing. The point of this story is hurray for screwing up.

When I got back to college I vegged out on the Mega Man Power Battle arcade machine. It's like visiting an upgraded version of my youth.

The promised college apartment internet has once again been pushed back to "next week." I'm starting to wonder who's worse with release dates, my apartment or Nintendo.

The first day of college went well. I only went to one wrong class. Always a plus. I'm coming to the horrifying realization that my entire high school seems to have gone to this college. So many random encounters.

My math class seems to be on the same level as most special ed classes. I've already taken three math classes ABOVE this class. Why it's required for my major I have no idea. Same with my computer class. Why can't I just skip this crap?

Have you guys seen Force Monkeys? It's a super sweet Star Wars video game comic from the twistedly perfect mind of Sean Simpson. Definitely check it out. It's like the Utopia of Web Comics.
