All done with conventions for a little bit. And SICK
K just poping in to say I'm all done with the hellish back to back convention schedule for a little while at least. And I would be more active on here but I've been stricken with the con flu ever since. I'm getting much better today though so I should be ready to go soon... Hopefully. But yeah I'm not dead! just dieing.
My six conventions in a ROW is FINALLY about over. I've got one more this weekend (I leave tomorrow at 5 AM... FUCK) But after that I have over a month of free time to make comics like crazy go nuts. I'm so excited you have no idea. I crave comics big time. And I'm lining up two people to help me with conventions next year so I'm never this exhausted (miserable) again. Last year I had one person lined up and it fell through HARD. Now that I've got two people hopefully at least one pulls through for me (I'm hoping for both.) WE SHALL SEE.
Anyhow enough bitching. I'll be at Gen Con Indy this weekend in Indianapolis so if any of you peeps are going to be around stop by the booth. I'm sharing a booth this time with the lovely ladies of Kingdom Arts. It'll basically be a bunch of anime colored wigs and then Snafu t-shirts. An odd mix but it works. When I get back I will sleep for 6 years straight. Perhaps... more.
Oh and I strangely like the new Eminiem song. I feel TERRIBLE saying that. Almost like I should tie myself to a bed and set the house on fire terrible.
The conventions are relentless this month and we've got yet another one this weekend. This time Otakon in Baltimore Maryland. We're in booth 702 right next to Yugioh Abridged (704) and VG Cats (706) and Halolz(708-710). It's going to be an epic show to say the least so stop buy and get some stuff. Hell get some stuff from the whole row we're all rad and our shirts even more so.
Hey everyone I've been M.I.A. lately trying to get ready for Anime Expo. I've literally been putting in 19 hour days everyday for what feels like years. Anyhoo if you're anywhere in the L.A area please come by and check out our t-shirts and prints and buttons and badges and whatever.
Also as of like a DAY ago I'm officially going to Conneticon the next weekend in Hartford Conneticut. I know that's super super short notice but yeah if you're around come say hi.
And Also for last minute conventions things Snafu will also be at Comic-con. I'll be attending MetroCon at the same time so someone else will be there in my place. So yeah two last minute additions and both mind blowingly short notice. But oh well it'll be cool.
July (and first week of August) is the most hardwork convention month of the year so I'll be pretty much gone for the majority of it. But I shall return promise.
K I just watched Splice. And The rest of my post has massive spoilers... I guess... if this movie can be spoiled.
Yeah it was basically a giant incest, bestiality, transgender, softcore porn. I shit you not the dude gets seduced by this goat legged, lizard, batgirl thing. It's fucking insane. Then the monster switches genders and starts raping the female main character. Which is especially cool since it was made from the female's DNA and for all intents and purposes in the film it's her daughter... son... thing. I just want to know what creepy douche wrote this film? And even more so what producer read the script and was like oh hell yeah this is hot how the guy fucks the monster. Let's make the monster grow a dick and fuck the girl as well, that would be super hot.
WEIRD fucking movie. I just can't wrap my mind around how this is an actual movie with a budget. WHO PAID FOR THIS TO EXIST? What the fuck is wrong with them?
Anime Central was great! Thanks so much to everyone that came by the booth I really appreciate it. I got to meet a lot of great fans. There was a Dave cosplayer which was super rad.

I gave her a free shirt and as a heads up if anyone cosplays anything from Snafu Comics I'll give you a free shirt or print or whatever you want really. That's always so awesome when people will cosplay our characters. Really makes my day.
And then I had a total angel come to the booth to bring me water and even a hamburger since I was all alone and stuck behind the booth all day all three days. She was the bomb diggity for hizzy. I have no idea what that even means but hooray.
And I another girl game me some lemonade and free hugs. And then another girl got a picture with me and then a surprise kiss attack on the check which was Super Effective. Most action I've got in years.

And non Anime Central news Little Big Planet 2 looks pretty awesome. I found the first to be too... dull and this one doesn't look all that much better... but it looks that much better at the same time. Little Big Planet really needs some enemies and bosses and ATTACKS of some kind to make it great in my opinion. Hell PDA Games on Alien Hominid where fantastic and the only real difference is there were instant kill enemies and you could attack you friends once in awhile if you wanted to. LBP make it challenging for once please.
I'm going to be at Anime Central this weekend in the Chicago, IL area. Stop by say hi. Buy a shirt or two and ask if I'm Bleedman. But instead of asking if I'm Bleedman buy one of his prints instead.
Captain Hammer would be a rad member of the avengers. And it's late so I'm off to bed. I personally really really really liked Iron Man 2. It was funny, cleaver, pretty rad action scenes. had two really cool villians and Tony Stark is the man. Add Black Widow in the mix and it's just all around a sweet film.
